OK, I feel better today after some pretty low lows in the past few days. I stuck to a better eating day today. I'm already out of the running for February, but I plan to continue posting. I have been missing in action. But I am back. I turned 50 and wanted to celebrate (for a week, it turned out...) and then got sick, bla bla bla. But, the point is-- I am here. So today, I ate within my calories, I tracked and I did not get any exercise. So, 2 out of 3. But, I am ON for tomorrow. I have a plan. Stay warm!

First day of winter break (for this teacher). I felt great sleeping in (sort of) and then exercising. I had lunch with friends, but still stayed in the zone. Good day. : ) The best gift is health. And we can really only give it to ourselves.

I stopped going to the gym (my YMCA) because I found that I was more likely to do exercise outside and with DVD's and streaming services. I am a solitary exerciser, so this works for me. Yesterday and today I exercised, stayed in my limit and logged. With "kids" home, and a full fridge, this is a feat for me. But, success!…

I'm so happy to have both "kids" home right now. (18 and 21) I took a long walk in the snow and ate right and tracked. I am a children's book junkie. I have my favorites from childhood (Blueberries for Sal, Goodnight Moon, The Little Fur Family, among many others) and I have shelves of other amazing picture books, too.…
