Hi there, I’m back again, I have just turned 50 and injury has kept me from exercising in my favourite form for 12 months, running. I have gained around 7kg.... and my clothes don’t fit.

I think im the same......im having a break from exercise because I've felt really flat and sick lately and trying to work out what's wrong. Im resetting my diet im eating more often, protein at every meal and having fruit and nuts for snacks.....no results to report yet. But interesting reading thank you

I find I don't have a set routine. I'm basically lazy I want it but obviously don't want it bad enough I beat myself up for all of these excuses. Life gets busy and I fall off the wagon. :smile:

Oh..... im eating around 1450cals, It seems such a small amount compared too some? Sometimes my exercise can be quite high and I still don't eat that, and Im not loosing weight at all? Should I be eating more? Sorry to hijack your thread, you have made me curious now :)

I have breakfast lunch tea (dinner) Snacks Workout snacks Juices/smoothies I have just added juices smoothies because i am trying to increase my fruit and vegie intake to try to combat andrenal fatigue so i have added a juice before breakfast every day.

Eggs is a good one. Peanut butter on crackers. I like greek yogurt and frozen blueberries with a couple crushed up almonds on top :) There is even some research that chocolate milk may be of benefit :)

You definately need to eat more. When you eat more think whole foods, fruit, vegetables and cut back on the processed foods you will find that you will lose weight. Your body has gone into starvation mode and is holding what weight you have because it thinks its not going to get fed again. When you feed it, it will boost…
