recovering from an ed myself. honestly, yeah your bodys metabolism is gonna suck for a little while...you kinda have to accept that. but you should be talking to a psychiatrist and psychologist either way. oh, and measure and weigh all your food.

the thing is its not like you have to eat tons to meet calories. There are calorie dense foods. I'm not trying to be mean, its just like if you can only eat a little just pack it with avocado or nuts or cheese..

I quit cold turkey after about a year at 200mg/day and was fine besides minor withdrawal symptoms for about a week (nausea, headaches). The symptoms sucked! It's a great drug for appetite suppressant (I was on it for bulimia) but the effects can be awful.

I think you should go see a doctor. You may well have an eating disorder. A doctor (psych ED specialist, nutritionist) can help you get refocused on what healthy weight, body image, and eating should be like :) best of luck.

It 100% depends on that particular situation and how you feel about it. Was there a loss of control? Sometimes a binge is 500 calories, sometimes it's 5000.

What might be helpful is logging what you're going to eat for the day BEFORE the day actually starts. That way you don't have to constantly worry about calories. Maybe leave 100-150 calories wiggle room for if you're still hungry so you can have a snack. And if what you're eating isn't making you full, eat something…
