The damage I've done
I worry about the damage I've done to my body after being bulimic for 6&1/2 years. (Just to be clear, I started recovery last May, and am doing MOSTLY well these days, though the occasional slips do happen.) I worry that my heart is screwed up. Beggining strength training
So I'm going to start strength training, but have some questions about calories. I still have 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) to lose. Should I still eat at a deficit? Is it counterproductive to eat at a deficit while lifting weights? Will my weight loss slow? Should I switch from 1lb/wk. loss to .5/wk.? I've got all these questions!

Does it matter if I'm over carbs?
So I tend to be over on CARBS each day, but still stay under or at my CALORIE goal. Does it really matter? P.s. I'm generally at 60% carbs, 20% fat, 20% protein

Not able to Workout

Only halfway through the day...
And already ate most of my calories! I'm at about 1000 and my daily allowance is 1200. And I plan on going out drinking tonight... I guess I've gotta dance the night away haha. In addition, does 1200 sound like an okay number of calories per day? 5'6" 143 lbs.

BMR and calories you eat
Should I be eating less than my BMR or more? I'm 5'6" and 144 lbs, so my BMR is about 1450. I am eating 1200 calories per day, sometimes less, rarely more. How does this sound to you guys? Please help!

Is strength training necessary?
I don't wanna be buff or anything. I just want to be thin. So do I really have to do anything besides cardio? I HATE anything besides cardio haha. I can run, bike, swim, all that junk, NO PROBLEM; when it comes to crunches, training with weights and all that crap, I hate it. So do I actually have to do it? All comments…

How many times a week do you guys workout? Does it matter if I do it everyday or 3 times a week, like can either be bad?

starvation mode
Am i actually gonna go into starvation mode if i dont eat 1200 cals per day? And should I be going by food calories or net? Like if I eat 1200 calories but exercise off 400, will I go into starvation mode? What exactly does starvation mode do? I've looked it up, but i get differrent answers from different sites.

fruits vs. other snacks
Fruit has more calories than some other snacks. Does it make more sense to eat say, the 60 calorie pudding or the 100 calorie apple?

Waaay over goal
Am i the only one who goes way over their goal every once in a while? When this happens should i be really strict the next day? Advice??

ideal saturated fat, carbs, etc
Does anyone know about how much of each i should be eating? because people are always saying mfp doesnt give good numbers. im on a 1200 calorie daily diet. i was wondering how much carbs sodium fat and saturated fat is appropriate.

I'm not burning that much!
I see people's stuff with like "So-And-So burned 650 calories doing blah blah" and i'm like woah! I'm burning like 300 per day MAX! Am I the only one?

Scales
So I got on the scale yesterday and it said 146. Today it says 149. What gives? Are scales unreliable? What is the best type of scale? Help please! Surely I didn't gain 3 lbs...I was under my calorie goal yesterday.

Four Lokos
OMG I had one last night after not drinking for a while...I got so drunk and woke up so early with a nasty hangover only to realize that those things have 660 calories!!! Arggggg...Never again haha. My advice: Don't drink 'em. That's like over half my daily calories.

Do different people carry weight differently?
I weigh 150 and am 5'6". Very large "chest area". Thick legs and medium butt. My sister is 5'8" and 155 lbs. Medium boobs NO butt and skinny legs. Yet I think she looks fatter than me. Am I crazy? Do we just carry the weight differently?

Old habits die hard.
Bulimia. That's me. And It had been 2 weeks and one day since my last purge(vomit) episode. Longer than that since my last binge. I was doing sooo well. COnsidering I used to do it everyday. It sucks messing up :/ Anyone else on my boat?

Why did you start trying to lose weight?
I realized I was getting larger than I wanted to be. I would look in the mirror and think "I look fat today" like everyday. Then I realized...Maybe I'm just getting fat haha. I gained a lot of weight really fast after my sister passed away 4 months ago.. How about you guys?
