Does it matter if I'm over carbs?

So I tend to be over on CARBS each day, but still stay under or at my CALORIE goal.
Does it really matter?

P.s. I'm generally at 60% carbs, 20% fat, 20% protein

For weight loss, no. I personally like to have more protein and fat though, so being over on carbs would mean I was short changing either fat or protein which both serve very important functions in the body.

It depends on your goals, but for weight loss - outside of a medical condition like PCOS, no it does not matter.

Bingo. Just make sure they are good carbs though. You can never get too much whole grain!

  • Hello !

I'm not an anti carbs or anything like that, but I'd say 60% is too much.

Maybe you should try to set your goal at 50%, but with good carbs, such as whole rice, whole pasta, whole bread, oatmeal.

Leguminous are also a good carbs provider and also protein !

    bye !
