Awesome job!!! How long did it take you and what did you do?

Awesome job!!! I'm at about 250 and was thinking about doing kickboxing but was scared I'm too out of shape to start. Just maybe I can do it!

I'm 5'11 and been hanging around 240 for awhile now. I think reading this post is why I find myself becoming discouraged and giving up after working my butt off to lose 10 lbs and can't even tell. I guess I just need to accept that it will take longer to see the results.

I had a neighbor once who was in their 50's and married for like 30 years and after she lost a bunch of weight, she started to cheat on her husband. Who knows why people do what they do.

Congratulations!!! I am currently still a smoker. I did quit last year for about 5 months then started again. Gained like 40lbs during that time. I'm scared to stop smoking again because of the weight gain. I am looking to quit again as soon as I get my eating habits under control. Again, congrats!!!

What's she saying is that the OP didn't try to jump straight into a workout program such as Insanity. insanity is a workout video for people that have been working out and they're ready for a tougher challenge. Many people that have never worked out try to jump straight into Insanity and some quit because it's too…

Oh my goodness, first of all, thank you all so much for your post. I've read each and everyone of them and I've learned some very interesting new ways to prepare veggies. I didn't realize that there were so many people just like me that didn't care for veggies - I thought I was just weird honestly. I went ahead and just…

Thank you all for your post. As several suggested, I just need to do it and find a way to enjoy them. Guess I'll try buying a bunch of different veggies and try cooking them in different ways to see if I can find ways that I will like them.

I'm trying to quit smoking too. I quit last year for about 4 or 5 months and gained 40 lbs. I honestly don't see where I was eating more but I have read that smoking increases your metabolism. Not sure if that's true, but.. Now, i've pretty much dropped that weight and still trying to lose another 40 to get to my goal…

Hi. I'm no where near my goal yet but your goal is completely realistic. I'm 6' exactly and I currently weigh 218. My goal is 170. I've read multiple of success stories on here where women our height weigh a lot less and look great (not too skinny). I'm going to try to get to 170 and then go from there. I think anything…
