  • It certainly can mess me up, but mostly if we go out. It's very hard to control calories when you are not the one cooking. I just try to make smart choices. Stay away from fried things, light on the sauces/dressings, etc.
  • Yeah, my husband gave it to my son for his bday...yeah, he's 5. It's hanging up and I seriously doubt I could get it down myself, but I could ask Clint to. jhkh12...Is the Wii Fit Plus different than the Wii fit?
  • no. I guess I need one...
  • Just keep swimming! Post on here when you finish your run!!!
  • I shot for the middle of my range. We'll see how it looks when I get there. :) I figured I'd try to stick to the middle. I have a larger frame, broad shoulders, etc, so I'll never be a beanpole. :)
  • The small cans do seem to be enough when I want a taste. If I get a regular sized can, the last bit seems to be warm by the time I get around to it.
  • they nutritionist they had on there was pushing to have a "total calorie" content on things that ppl would likely eat all of...like ice cream pints, candy bars, small bags of chips. etc. I can't say I think it's a bad idea. Would shock a bunch of ppl.
  • well, I'm 6'1", so the I only have 2 or 3 pairs of heels...the ones I wear the most are red and I wore them in my 6'6"brother's wedding. :) My husband is exactly my height, and while I made SURE I wasn't taller than him in our wedding, he doesn't care at all if I am taller than him when I go out. I probably have a bigger…
  • what thread do we go to to find the Red team list?
  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it. Had a sleep # and HATED it. I never did find the right number. DH wanted it very firm, me, not so much. Finally gave in and bought a tempurpedic. I'm a total bed snob now. I rest better, sleep deeper, don't wake up achy (unless I way over did the exercise the day before...I used to wake up w/ achy…
  • Glad to be on Team RED!!!
  • I couldn't when I was BF...it made me cry to go up stairs sometimes... I have to use a sports bra w/ clasps, they just seem to hold tighter...I got mine at a running store. I'm a 40 G (sad, but true). I can't wait to go down to a D or DD. :)
  • Your topic title reminds me of my favorite children's book "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Day." Basically, this kid's day sucked, so he decided he was moving to Australia. His mom is comforting him at the end of the day and gently lets him know that some days are like that....even in Australia.…
  • You could try air popped popcorn (not microwaved) with some light salt and butter spray. Also, we had someone bring veges cut up in a little plastic Dixie cup (bathroom size) w/ a small amt of ranch in the bottom. Convienent and portion controlled dip! Turkey wrapped around apples/cheese (no tortilla involved). HTH
  • I agree. If I'm low on protien for the day, I will often get a teaspoon from the drawer and get a spoon of peanut butter, which ends up being about 1 TBSP. HTH.
  • When I don't have my 4 kids with me, I'm in! I have a baby, and not enough hands to keep the other 3 attached (oldest are 7 yr old twins), so I have major fear for one getting run over here where all the crazy road rage drivers live (Atlanta). BTW, my husband had an accident just over a year ago, just had his 3rd surgery…
  • My mom's a 12 yr breast cancer survivor, so I understand some of what you are going through. Hang in there. Keep track of your foods (it will help w/ the comfort food thing). :flowerforyou: Hang in there!
  • I have no idea, but if you are 6'1" and weigh 165 and are trying to lose 20 lbs...that's REALLY thin. For a medium frame, you are right smack in the middle of the range. Just make sure your goals are healthy. I'm also 6'1", and female, and I would need to be on IV fluids if I were 145. I know everyone is different and you…
  • YEA!!! Keep it up! (and did you eat the fish?)
  • ala cuisine!!!!
  • I watch it w/ my kids...I figure it's better than the junk they say is for kids these days. ha ha And besides, how many 7 and 5 yr olds know what fondant is? That said, we do get inspired to cook, and we do make it healthy. Even they say "wow, mom, Paula Deen sure does love butter."
  • I agree, it's so full of protien, and you don't need a lot to satisfy! Don't buy into the "lowfat"...it's not that much lower. However, if you don't want preservatives, etc. you can grind your own at Wholefoods / Harry's if they have one near you.

  • the answer depends on a lot of things...are you pg? is it blood? #1?
  • Keep it out of the house!!! DH and I have learned to not have junk food in the house. We had a bday party and supper club all at our huse yesterday, company overnight, so lots more food than we would normally have. ALL "junk" food got sent home w/ our guests. I used to keep stuff for the kids (I have 4), but now we all eat…
  • Hang in there. I'm losing 75 and DH is losing 100. We can do it!!! this site is great for encouragement.
