mini pizzas that the only thing I could think of (some sauce, spinach, mushrooms and fat free feta cheese yummmy!!) because I hate breakfast foods0

I use Almond Butter on 35 calorie wheat bread. The Almond Butter is really good.
I second this! Almond Butter is really good! A great alternative.
mmmmmm almond butter0 -
1/8 th cup melted 2% cheddar and 1 or 2 egg whites.0

If you're looking for something to add protein (which I assume is why you have been choosing peanut butter instead something with few calories but less nutritional value), I would suggest an egg. You can fry the egg in pam, add a little fat free miracle whip and have a nice egg sandwich.
Or - what I usually do is Kashi Go Lean cereal. It's got 13 g of protein (more protein than 2 eggs) and 10 g fiber. Add 1% milk and you've got a bit more protein! It's not a sugary cereal, but it really is good if you want to try something different.0 -
Maybe a little bit of tuna? Mix some up with some light mayo, mustard, lemon juice, onions, and celery. Slap it on a toasted English muffin and you have a fast, high protein, low cal meal!0

I have the same exact thing for breakfast and I actually measured out my PB. Have you ever done that? Because a serving is usually 2 tbsp and honestly, that is a LOT of PB. I can get away with one TBSP and its about 185 for my muffin ( I use the 90 cal sara lee ones) and 1 tbsp of peanut butter.
I agree. If I'm low on protien for the day, I will often get a teaspoon from the drawer and get a spoon of peanut butter, which ends up being about 1 TBSP. HTH.0 -
Thank you so much!
I have so many great suggestions that I have written down now! Thanks again, friends!0 -

nut butters! I eat almond butter almost every morning. You should try other breakfast ideas as well like greek yogurt and rolled oats. I added a tablespoon of almond butter and a banana to a oats this morning. It usually keeps me full and energized until lunch time. Protein tends to keep me feeling full much longer anyways, maybe try an egg with your muffin?0

"But Ryan, it was peanut butter"0 -
I always make things on an English Muffin for my other half in the morning.
Some of the favorites are:
Smart Balance Butter + Strawberry jam/sliced strawberries + thinly sliced 1/3 banana
Smart Balance Butter + Slice of provolone cheese + Pear jam (or grape jam, or apricot jam would work)
Provolone cheese + scrambled egg
and my personal favorite is...
1 tbs sunflower butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg.0 -
I've heard of that Nutella stuff, but I have not tried it. It may be less calories. It's supposed to be some type of chocolate-hazelnut spread.
Nutella is fab!!!! But I don't think it's low-cal. Could be wrong. Would be great if I am. I love that stuff!!!0 -
I use 1/2 serving of natural Jiff creamy on my raisin bread. I use Laughing Cow Creamy Swiss Lite on my thin bagels. Or I'll eat a bowl of Product 19 with skim milk. That's generally my breakfast menu.0

Maybe just have 1 Tbs? I LOVE PB!0

Almond Butter--1 T is 90 calories. I am completely addicted to it!0

Why not just stick with the peanut butter? It's good stuff, even the fats in it are mostly the "good" kind. Only thing I would suggest, is to get natural peanut butter.
If you just want something different for a change of pace, try Hummus.0 -
Laughing Cow Lights are DELICIOUS. They have a variety of flavor with only 35 calories per wedge
second this, they are awesome.
I bug them every month or so about making a ranch flavored light wedge! I LOVE LAUGHING COW!!!
Also you can make an excellent apple dip by mixing 1 tsp of brown sugar with 1 wedge of the light original and a drop of vanilla. :happy:0 -
PB2. Taste exactly like peanut butter and has only 45 calories per 2 tbsp0

If you love peanut butter, you can try PB2. It's powdered peanut butter; you just add water, and it's less calories. My mom and my sister say it tastes just the same; I haven't tried it yet.0
