  • I'm 5'8 and my ultimate goal is between 140 and 150. I agree that 115 might be kind of scrawny for such a tall frame :/ Have you consulted a doctor about that number?
  • Mine haven't made me gain any weight. Eating out like I have a super metabolism, being overall lazy, and not working out made me gain weight. I am on them for my PCOS and have found the cravings I get are worse/stronger, but I'm sure it's just the hormones.
  • I love chipotle. I go and get a bowl with all the goodies you mentioned. I even eat chips with it. YUM. I don't deprive myself of it, I accept the calories and only eat there about once every two months... Back east MOE'S is my downfall..... the queso is soooooo good!! We're flying back east this fall and I don't know how…
  • Are you exercising? My biggest fear is losing weight and having a bunch of flabby skin :( I do different work out videos to tone as I lose so I can hopefully avoid that whole flabby issue. If you're working out and still experiencing it, I have no clue :(
  • I have no shame in sneaking in healthy snacks to the movie theater. I confess, if I saw healthy food at the concession stand, I think I would fork over the money for it... but I have never seen anything of the sort. Good for you for resisting the smells of the theater! It's always the hardest for us!
  • ATTENTION!! Here is the link of the guy explaining it, showing you the workout and timing it... I just do it with the girl so I don't have to worry about my time. I have it saved as a favorite. I find it boosts my metabolism even if it doesn't burn the initial calories. I'm going on my third week here, almost 7 lbs down,…
  • They have stuffed pork chops which are delicious! You can't go wrong with their hummus from what I hear. They have really good snacky things too- hubby loves their kettle corn. I've never gotten something I didn't like!
  • There is a video on youtube of the guy walking you through it. I successfully complete two minutes of it before feeling like I'm going to die. It's intense, but I think they pay of is worth it for 4 minutes.
  • Every night I sit down and come up with a rough plan for the next day. I put in what we're having for dinner. I have a good lunch idea and some great snacks built in. I try to spread my calories around so I eat the spread all through the day. This way you're not eating too many, or left with a huge deficit at night. Works…
  • If it stays on for three days, on the third day I post it. I feel the ups and downs are part of the journey. I don't overly congratulate myself when I re-lose them though.
  • I've had it baked with artichoke hearts and grean olives, a little chicken broth and served with couscous- delicious (except I would keep off the olives when I make it- yuck!)! I also found a bunch of recipes on Mrs. Dash- just get some different seasonings and bake it in the over. My go to is on Sundays- like someone else…
  • Best advice: Talk to your doctor! They'll know your medical history and be able to tell you best!
  • I never have a zero balance on calories but consider it a good day if I am within 100 on either side. I've only gone over twice, but kept them inside of the 100 over. I know last week I had some issues and while I was underneath in calories all week, I was over in sodium almost every single day :/ That could be something…
  • I love Jell-o Temptations and have one pretty much every other day- they're avg around 140 cal depending on which flavor you get. We also have skinny cows in the freezer almost all the time and if I want something like Ben & Jerry's- I buy the tiny little 150 cal containers so I don't over indulge!
  • I've had problems with my sodium levels too! I baked my own chicken breast just like everyone says. I don't think that is the main way to cut sodium though- but it definitely is more nutritios I think. Think of all the preservatives in deli meat. If you're not bothered by that, you can go to low sodium lunch meat or keep…
  • Put it in the recipe builder and it will tell you. You go to the food section and hit "recipes" then enter each item and it breaks it down for you.
  • What I almost find more obnoxious is when it tells you "If everyday were like today you would weigh x in 5 weeks". Really? I ate a whole P'zone and a coke for dinner... yet that number looks pretty good because I was just under my calories. Seriously, so I should eat that everyday? I think it's just for positive…
  • I eat all day and space my "mini" meals out. I estimate my total cals (including exercise) in the morning and go over knowing I'll be adding in the exercise later. I snack on grapes, a couple ounces of chicken, rice, kraft cracker cuts cheese slices, hummus and naan or carrots. You just have to feed your body right for the…
  • We made French Toast this morning with a berry mixture syrup made fresh. It was delicious and about 430 calories (whole wheat, two eggs and skim milk to make two pieces for me and two for my husband) Take a cup of fresh berries and cook them in a pot until they are saucy and pour over the toast. It was delicious, filling,…
  • I just started the 30DS and am shocked you didn't lose weight one it :O I am definitely doing it to lose weight- anyone have success with it for weight loss? I know I sweat buckets with it and am loving it... well, I'm on day 2 and loving it so far!
  • I got mine on amazon and paid $80 after next day shipping. Might be better than target. The box is TINY, but comes with chest strap and watch :D I love mine so far!
  • As far as I know, you have to wear the chest strap(?)... I just got mine and don't see how to use it without it. The chest strap measures and the watch part just calculates it. Am I wrong? I would say you could wear it all day, but I wouldn't re-eat those calories since it's pretty much covered and accounted for in the…
  • Wow... something my husband will LOVE too :D Thanks for sharing!
  • Wht kind of exercise are you doing? You might be building muscle instead of losing fat? I know for me personally, my left one is a cup smaller than my right one now (more noticable than your average differences) since I started working out :/ It's the first place I lost weight though. I just started the 30 day shred and…
  • I also have a Polar FT4. Just ordered it after some pretty extensive research. Found it on Amazon for about $65.
  • I've wondered about this too! I am always ridiculously over on my sodium too and have made an appointment with my doctor to talk about the levels and what to do.
  • I do two crazy ones: The four minute workout and the 100 workout. I only do 2 minutes of the 4 minute one and I started with 25% of the 100 workout. You just have to build up the strength. Each time I feel like I'm going to die, but each time I can do a little more.
  • You can add me! I'm not on the work out video circuit, but it's always nice to have buddies for support and accountability! I'm in SoCal too!
  • I have found pinterest to be a wonderful tool when it comes to finding recipe ideas! I pin them onto my recipe board and try new things. Tonight we are doing a crock pot recipe for two... I changed it a bit to be three servings. 3 boneless pork chops 1 can Bush's Grillin' Beans - Black Bean Fiesta 1/2 cup chunky salsa I…
  • AWESOME JOB! I have found myself sitting at the computer, running options through and finding out what works best, and finding what I "can have" and still be in target. I still munch when I'm in a munchy mood, but I do it healthier! Such a huge victory!
