I wish I could advise you, but I can't. However, if you're logging everything, ask your GP for a referral to a dietician and take your printed logs along to show them. They should be able to evaluate your diet and give you some advice. I hope you get some help from more knowledgeable people! Good luck,

I do this occasionally, but try and make it just for one MEAL not the whole day and still count and log your calories, that way if your weight loss slows down or stalls at least you can look back and find the reason why... memories are tricky things.

Sounds very yummy! I've been making flapjacks, but these sound great too!

Personally i am glad you are no longer on the atkins diet, these types of diet are too restrictive imho. Counting calories and upping your exercise is the best way to learn healthy new lifestyle habits that you will hopefully be able to stick to long term. Welcome, i hope you do well.

My doctor told me to weigh every day so that I can learn how my weight fluctuates and then take the average for the week. This technique gives you the chance to assess where you might have gone astray and turn things around. It works for me - although it might not work for everyone. I would say though, only weigh ONCE a…

C'mon. Dig deep and find the motivation that is down there somewhere! Just because you've gained weight this week does NOT make you a failure! Look through the posts and you will see quite a few that have gained weight they're not quitting and nor should you!! Check your diary log and see if you can work out what went…
