Stationary Bike...

So I recently just bought a stationary bike and have began to use it. My first day using it I rode 4 miles in 40 minutes and burned 457 calories. My main areas I need to lose weight in are my upper arms, face and most importantly my stomach! Will the bike help me lose weight overall, or is it just going to tone my legs?

Unfortunately, you cannot spot reduce. The fat will eventually come off from where you want it..just stick to it.
Good luck!0 -

It might tone your LEGS or have you got your hands on the pedals?
Seriously, you'll lose weight overall.0 -
You'll lose weight overall and possibly tone your legs. However, when I ride my bike (not stationary though) I do feel some strain in my back (not pain, but good strain) and sometimes my arms. It just depends. What hurts when you're done?0

Oops! I meant legs. I corrected it
And I do feel some strain in my arms after I'm done, but a good strain! I'll just stick to it and see what happens! Thanks all0
