The keto gummy ads are the worst! The celeb’s mouth is moving but the words aren’t syncing up at all. And they were never approved on Shark Tank!! 😆

When you exercise, your muscles get strained and need to repair themselves. When this happens the muscles retain some water which could explain a weight gain after beginning a new exercise program. Keep up the good work!

Who doesn't do it every day if they have an S/O [/quote] Seriously? Nobody I know does it everyday or even every month. But then again, I'm old and decrepit. :p But still.... everyday??!

No, that is not wrong. There are different kinds of fiber (and I'm not sure about the differences) and some helps to move things along, but the other kind adds bulk to the stool. So if you're eating a lot of fiber and you're constipated, water is the answer.

Really well-done show. We love it! I wonder how the non-zombies keep from becoming infected when they get zombie blood all over themselves. Like when Andrea (whom I also don't care for) stabbed the dude and got blood all over her face. Some of it HAD to go in her eyes and mouth!! This may be my nurse brain over thinking…

Who's body would I like to have? Matthew McConaughey's. over and over and over.

My own personal opinion... if you're not hungry, leave it.

If excess carbs make me so tired that I can't function and very restricted carbs gives me much more energy, then I'd say my low carb diet does have an affect on my metabolism. And to answer the question above, without carbs coming in, fat is used for energy. And that's a good thing.

I've found large sized workout wear in K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Academy, and Trak Shak.

Healthier? maybe. But tastier? ummm, not sure about that. :)

Getting wisdom teeth pulled takes an hour max.

Thanks! Good to know.

Ahhh, so there's a name for it! Yep, I believe I've definitely had the low carb flu! I have been very low carb (20g/day) for 2 weeks and have been very tired; the muscles in my shoulders are achy, and my legs feel as though they're about to go out from under me after a flight of stairs. This is day # 15 and I'm just…

Thanks! I've been checking periodically for ketosis and after 2 weeks, I'm not there yet. Actually, I haven't checked in the last few days. Maybe I am there and just don't know it. The sluggishness is getting somewhat better.

I've been on a very low carb, low cal, high protein diet for the past 2 weeks and have lost over 9 pounds. The downside is, I am verrrrry tired. My doctor says that is because my body is not yet used to running on so few carbs, so I'm hanging in there.

Also, women are not (usually) genetically equipped to pack on a significant amount of weight due to muscle in the first few weeks of working out. Usually an initial weight gain seen after a newbie starts working out is due to muscles holding onto water in order to repair themselves.

I'm with you! We southerners don't cotton to having fake stuff in our tea. In our sodas, no problem. But don't mess with our tea! I like to say, in the South, tea is sweet and cornbread is NOT! :)

Personally, I'd rather go without than to vilify my tea with artificial or non-real-sugar sweeteners. *shudders* Real sweet tea has real sugar in it!! Drink it, enjoy it, log it, and move on!

Was it one of the bodybuilders.com guys that told you that?

I love Brooks! They are the only shoes I have ever been able to run in. I agree with going to a specialty store and being fitted by someone who knows what they're doing. And, I agree that running shoes should be larger than your normal shoes, no matter what the brand. My normal shoe size is 9.5, but for running shoes, I…

Seriously? I pray to God I can lose weight without ever having to eat anything that looks like that.
