well, here it is guys, our first weight in! I was down 138. something yesterday but I kinda had afew too many snacks and was up 139.2 this morning! Still less than 140 though! woo :)

WOW thank you so much for posting this! I'm so glad someone understands. I hate it when people tell me "oh you don't need to lose weight". I can still afford to lose 10-15 lbs and still be healthy (and a lot happier) and its the last 10 lbs that are so hard to lose! gahh.

another thing that helps with water intake- add crystal light (every so often) of even a lemon or something, for flavor :) Honestly though, you'll get used to the water... and you can feel the difference. dido on the dry cereal! I had some last night... I was so hungry at about 8pm and headed straight for the cupboard. I could have went with chips... but instead I filled up on water, then had a handful of the new falvoured cheerios! tastes sweet without too many bad sugars or fats! :)

This is the best idea I've heard all day! 100% healthy eating for a week then rewarding yourself with a "cheat meal" (and possibly a little more exercise?) ...Sounds good to me!

I always run with an ipod... listen to really upbeat songs you really enjoy and just tell yourself "okay keep running until this song is over" I slow down a bit inbetween songs (but still keep going). Try making a playlist in adnvace to avoid huge pauses. Another thing that helps me is remembering WHY I'm runnning in the…

LOL its like you took the words right out of my mouth. I get hungry at night too.. its my biggest downfall. Fill up on water first, then maybe have something healthy, fruits, veggies etc. and YES brushing teeth helps so much! maybe even have a water after that too! haha, I'm kind of a newbie too so I feel your pain!

Thanks guys! Its a little frustrating when you "lose" 2lbs then add two back ( so i'm back to my starting weight :sad: )... but knowing this is normal and i'm not the only one definitely helps!:smile:
