Angus! Only went to VHS but an amazing movie about an overweight teen and his battle with food. Spoiler alert: he has something in common with the home coming queen ;)

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are so CUTE!!!

Wow. Sounds like you've got a doozy of a problem on your hands. Sorry to hear about that. Truly. Sounds like he's pretty imature, trust me I've been around that block a couple of times (shakes her head). All I can say is that when enough is truly enough, you'll (pardon the expression) **** or get off the pot and either…

Are you eating your exercise calories too, or just the 1200?
-
HAHAHAHAHA! You get used to it but in the meantime this might be your best option...though gummy vitamins are pretty tasty :)
-
He showed what goes into your typical strore brand icecream...so nasty!! We started making our own after that.
-
Careful, I know someone who went quite the other way when she got divorced.
-
J - C Dude! You lost 69 lbs in 60 days!! That's crazy! Good job you!
-
Hmmmmm could be a number of things. They suggest not eating less than 4 hours prior to exercise but everyone is different, I'd try backin up your eating time and maybe holding off on the protein shake until your nausea passes.

Slice into madalions then throw them in the microwave to cook for 5 mins. Coat with a small amount of EVOO and toss in a little bit of Club House Mesquite marinade dry mix or chipotle chilli powder. Bbq in a basket until cooked through. They will likely stick so I usually coat the basket with a high heat cooking spray too.

8 milles is a solid walk, wear good shoes and make sure that you can easily do 5 miles before attempting the trek but no, I don't think it's overdoing it.

BMI is only one way of judging your fitness, and often a rather inaccurate way. The waist/hip/chest ratio is another one.
-
ALOT of cardio. Gotta get rid of all, or at least most, subcutaneous fat. Mix liberally with static or low weight/high rep strength building exercises.

Started my first week on Monday. So frustrating how my muscular endurance has tanked over the last few months. Oh well, back on track! I didn't see any weight loss this week but I suspect that's water retention from my muscles being rocked! Good luck!

Ummmm btw the Paleolethic era took place over 2.6 million years ago not 200-1000 years ago. Secondly, do you really think that I would be making comments without having done the research? I know several people who are currently or have used it in the past and though (yes I know) it's not identical to the Atkin's diet it…
-
Paleo is bunk!!! You're asking your body to devolve thousands and thousands of years and what? You think that the caveman didn't eat corn, or grind grain on a rock? Look at primitive natives, they definately did both. Paleo is just the new Atkins and the results are the same...eventual return of whatever weight you lost.

Hmmmm hadn't thought of the iron, perhaps I'll give that a try. Thanks!

I totally could have made a whole new meal with 1/8 of a box of stovetop and 1 porkchop!! No seriously, I am the master of leftovers. If I have a lot, I freeze it, if not, I essentially wait a couple of days and then see what I can make with the leftovers I have in the fridge. Think of it as a way to let your imagination…

My Birthday!!!! Oh and the smell, the food, the crispness to the air, the leaves changing colours.... pretty much everything :)
-
I too baught my first spaghetti squash at the farmers' market today. I'm making chicken parmesan with the squash as the base. Hope it's tasty.

I was in Ottawa for 2 years before moving out to Saskatchewan. I find it easiest to plan my meals for the day ahead of time and log them in the morning, that way I'm more apt to stay on track and I can adjust as the day goes without worrying about going over.
-
Stick with the plan you have, or better yet, try to get in a little cardio and a little strength every day! Strength and cardio play well together and doing both will increase your weightloss. Only doing the weights WILL NOT cut it, you will see some results if you're doing that AND have a good diet but not even remotely…

Ya, what she said :) There are lots of plyo workouts online and well worth the search. I did the Insanity plyo workout this morning and it is more cardio than plyo technically but still a really great and intense workout.
-
The one I have now is a ironman timex HRM with adjustable strap (which I always put on way tight, like borderline uncomfortable tight).

Every heard the phrase "too much of a good thing"? Generally speaking it's wise to keep fat at under 30% of your daily calories. I up my protein to 25% because I'm exercising more.
-
Even "once in a while" is WAY too often. Definately time to readjust your goals. So not worth making yourself sick. Definately time to talk to someone.
-
That! Seriously though, don't go all crazy about a few extra calories.
-
FDA actually recommends between 28-30g of sugar for women (as a base line) so you're pretty safe.
-
Teehee, do not worry my dear, yes your boobs are shrinking but I can guarantee so is the rest of you, it my just not be as evident right now. Stick to the plan and you'll see that people will be so impressed with how awesome you look all over that they won't dare comment on your smaller set. :) Think of it this way, there…

I don't know on what planet Kirstie Alley lives but there's no way in hell that she is a size 4. At 5'7.5" she looks to be closer to about an 8-10. And as for her "14" HA! When she was at her biggest she was almost 300lbs! I think that someone keeps subtracting 10 from her sizes. Good for her for losing the weight and it's…
