I feel like it's all I spend my wages on! I suppose when you spend a lot of your time being active you may as well invest the money in it ^_^. My latest purchases are SPD shoes and cleats for my spinning classes, and I'm betting I will probably spend more money this weekend.

I do 5.5 hrs cardio and approximately 2.5hrs of lifting a week. Sounds crazy when it's added up!

My biggest realisation was that a big, healthy meal doesn't have to mean a huge amount of calories. You often see that in restaurants a typical meal is usually 1000cals+ but if you make a similar meal at home it can easily be half of that.

Ah I was wondering the answer to this too, I do a lot of spinning and some running which I really enjoy and am not really willing to give up. Most of the body-building and strength training forums I've seen seem to hate any form of cardio so the answers they give aren't very helpful. I would imagine if you allow yourself…

I was on a treadmill for the first time in my gym and my mp3 player fell off the ledge of the console. It rolled off the tradmill belt and I pretty much fell off trying to retrieve it while it was still moving. Then I smacked my head on the towel dispenser as I got back up.... I now have an armband for my ipod whilst…

Hi, I'm from Cambridgeshire. Not got too much weight left to lose but I am really into my exercise. I'm trying to build some muscle and lose some fat. Anyone feel free to add me :)

That's amazing! I'll send a request, I've been looking for some friends who are into their fitness!
-
5km parkrun for me tomorrow :)
-
Just had mine with cinnamon as well as chopped brazil nuts, hazelnuts and almonds. Yum yum!

Cambridge here! Happy for anyone to add me :)

Wow! What a big difference! You look great, well done on all your hard work! :)

I'm eating 1900 at the moment but I should probably be eating more. Would be nice to get some more friends with similar fitness and calorie goals so I don't feel so guilty eating 'higher' amounts :D

Feel free to add me, I had finished stage 1 of NROLFW but it got a bit time consuming and complicated to fit into my schedule so I've now started Stronglifts 5x5. I'm not lifting much weight yet but looking to progress! :) Good luck with your goals.

Khadijak17: You can order it from amazon.co.uk. I've seen it on Ebay.co.uk as well. The cheapest I've seen is around £7 for one jar though, so fairly expensive.

It's great to see all of these goals and results! I ran a 5km race on Saturday and got a PB of 24.04 which I'm pretty proud of. 120th out of 343 people. 17th woman out of 118 :) Aiming to get it to around 22/23 mins soon hopefully.

An amazing transformation! Well done! :)

I do exactly the same thing! I'm really good through out the day, then after dinner I just pick at everything sweet even though i'm not physically hungry. I think it's a comfort thng for some reason. I'm curious to see the responses to this along with any tips :)

They look great! Thank you for posting :)

I've just finished my second work out in stage 1 so I've only just started too. I happy for anyone to add me if they want to :)

Cambridge here, but originally from Norfolk :)

Thanks for all your lovely comments :) For those asking about the final 15-20lbs; they were definitely the hardest. I found that it was a slower process, so I didn't expect a big loss every week. I found that it was very important not to find this discouraging and to keep at it. I also found that increasing my exercise…

I'm in Cambridgeshire if anyone wants another friend :)

I used Phd diet whey in a few brownie/cake/cereal bar recipes but everything ended up having really rubbery consistency, but taste wise it was fine :). I think it depends what brand of whey you use really, as a lot of recipes on here appear to come out really well.

Hi! I'm from Cambridgeshire. Anyone is more than welcome to add me :)

Hey :) I'm 5ft 4in SW: 201lbs in Jan 2011 CW: 127lbs GW: 126lbs I lost most of the weight by August 2011 and have been taking the last 20lbs slowly as I kept changing my goal weight. I found exercise helps greatly, especially with toning as your weight comes down. Good luck! You can do it!

I got my Lloyds HRM through the post today and I was having issues too, I think it's down to the chest strap. The Lloyds one didn't register on the watch for me, so I tried a chest strap from another HRM and it worked fine. But like you, I found the straps are too big. I ended up cutting and stitching mine smaller so it…
