Quit telling people to lift heavy. .. they will start comming into the free weight room.... and Im gonna have to wait longer for the squat rack ;) Love it.. heaviest squat ive done so far is 65 kgs... im strong and getting healthy and keeping my strong muscles as I go..

I found strong lifts too... I find its a simple program... being 4 months in im relatively new at it too... but I found you tubing the exercises helps... also I made my pt show me how to do those exercises. . Hey guys... Im doing the stronglift program :) I was up to 60kgs squat.. stopped for two weeks due to being sick.. so building back up to that.. I work out by myself... I love it when I can add another kg to the bar :)

you know what, dont make it about weight... make it about being healthier... fitter, stronger person... you can do it, make small goals, and keep going, even if you slip up every now and then, the trick is not to give up.. :) find something you love to do and do it, for me its weight lifting :) good luck

i'm not a doctor, but maybe you should see one ? maybe try http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ you pop in all your details.. and it tells you how much you should be eating to lose weight, maybe even though your inactive, your still not eatting enough ?

lifting while in a calorie deficit means you get to keep what you already have muscle wise, and lose some body fat..... you can only build muscle in a calorie surplus... so lifting like you are, will mean you keep the muscle you already have, you wont be skinny fat once you reach you goal... also i agree make sure your not…

Thank you... its something that I have checked every now and then as my father has it and diabetes and high blood pressure. ... and I was feeling dizzy... I went to the doctors.. and ask for those things to be checked... im glad I did. .. I had time to change it.. and it changed me :)

its fantastic!!! in one hand i'm happy that i had high cholesterol, as i wouldnt have done anything about my health before it came along!!!! i'm happy i was able to lower it... but this wave i was riding because of it....well i'm not getting off it, cholesterol has made me want to change my life, and i have... more changes…

ohhh and i also used to eat KFC at least once a week... at least!!!!! now i have not touched KFC macca's or hungry jacks for the whole 3 months not even once!!!!!!!!! would you believe i have to drive past them every day too :laugh:
