You are your own gym - Mark Lauren Bodyrock Nike Training App I do all of the above at home and also have Insanity and most of Jillian Michaels workouts.

I love his approach. Very no nonsense and I hate the time that going to the gym sucks out of my day. I've had way more success at home with some body weight stuff, a pull up bar and sandbag!

5'3 and 115-120 would suit me fine. I'm currently at 133. Having muscle is more important to me than being skinny though. Fit is the new sexy after all!

Maybe try making some recipes with coconut or Almond flour instead of wheat flour. A lot of Paleo recipes can be eaten by veggies. They're high in protein and fat but low carbs. Cauliflower rice is a sub I use all of the time now too. I stopped being veggie after 18 years BTW and have lost more weight than when on my high…

Thanks for the responses so far. I've tried swapping every other drink for non alcoholic when out but it never works so I'm going to give abstinence a try. It'll be hard with my crowd of friends though!

I really wouldn't worry about a half pound gain or loss. Weight fluctuates all of the time. Pay attention to the trend in your weight and stick to weighing weekly to avoid stressing over every tiny gain or loss.

There are definitely a few people I'd miss if they deactivated.
-
How do you change these settings?

Google Damy Health (Amy Layne). Her site has loads of recipes using cauliflower, etc as sub carbs.

If this is true then why do tribal women (as seen in Africa, etc) always have such saggy boobs? Mine are a UK F cup and I'm not convinced they's be as pert as they are now without a bra.

I should probably have said Primal but they're similar things. I follow Marks Daily Apple. Love it!

Bubble buts are way nicer than flat bums! I have to really work to get my bum to stick out a bit so count your blessings! x

I've had this before when I'm watching what I eat. A glass of milk before bed helps. Or if I do wake up hungry then I deink the milk then. Natural yoghurt will also help before bed. Good luck!

Day 2 down! Looking forward to a change of routine tomorrow!

The FT40(f) is a brilliant HRM. Make sure you get the F version as it's smaller for a girl. I don't honestly think you'll need the extra functions on the FT60 and yes, you can wear it at work. Chest straps must be in contact with the skin and moist before you put them on (wet the bit behind the sensor that contacts your…

Count me in. How do I 'check in' to show I've done this? I only joined the group today so can't start until the morning! I'm 5'2.5" and 135lbs. Petite frame with big boobs and hips! The hips are going!!!

This is brilliant! Thanks for posting. I just checked and I have all three DVD's so I'm going to kick off tomorrow. I've been doing Insanity but after 3 weeks I started to get bored with it (it's a good burn though).

Bump!

It's very encouraging to see that most girls my height are on 1200 a day and losing. My weakness is alcohol (I'm not an alchie), even when I drink within my cal limit I find it still causes a gain.

Please add me! There are so many great replies that MFP is limiting how many of you I can add at a time!

Thanks to everyone who has responded so far! My tips are regular exercise and clean eating. The basic stuff really. I don't know if anyone else has found this but my weight seemed to creep up as soon as I moved in with my boyfriend (now husband). I wonder if men secrete a fat inducing pheromone? Lol! On a serious note I…

Mine cares and I have to say if he gained a significant amount of weight I'd care too. I'm not talking a few pounds here and there (like over Xmas or after a baby) but a good few pounds (anything over a stone or more). I think it shows that he cares about me if he looks after his health (so that he can make sure he's…

Thanks scschenk. It's always good to hear a clearly laid out pov. I never eat less than1200 cals a day and I do tend to eat a little more on days when I kill it with Insanity or a run (I just feel hungrier and think you should always listen to your body). Another controversial point I'd like to bring up is breakfast. I…

Feel free to add me as a friend if you want support. I'm not very good at following the threads on here!

You'll have to really watch what you eat to lose weight. It will make you ache and is pretty tough but it is only 20 mins a day so if you want to see significant weight loss maybe add a 30 min walk/run too.

I'm with-in 20lbs of my goal weight and had the same issue for months. I upped my calories, increased my work-outs. Nada. The only thing that worked in the end was to stick to 1200 cals and stop eating back all of my exercise cals. I know lots of people are going to berate me for this but I'm tiny (5'2" with a very small…

If it's Indian say no to the popadoms. You can always have a little of the onion salad with some sauce while your friends tuck in. Choose chipatti (roti) over Naan. Try to go for the dry dishes (over the kormas) and avoid rice (it's just a filler and doesn't actually taste of much). I'm a veggie so always go for a dhal…

If you like Ice cream you can make a healthy version really easily using frozen banana. Go to bodyrock.tv and there's a recipe on there now. My wish... It's a tough call between pizza, wine and chocolate.

Thanks for the responses so far! Asylum sounds interesting!!! Keep them coming! :-)
