my motivation is my first half marathon in march.....gotta be in good shape before Christmas so the new year training doesn't come as a nasty shock!!!

make sure you've got good shoes, and good shock absorbant insoles. i used to have shin splints but as my running has got better my shin splints have ceased to bother me.....start gently and work up.

i'm so into MFP that everyfood i see, i can now imagine a price tag of calories attached.......a lot of stuff seems sooo much less apetising now!.......Visulise the calorie tag and see if it puts you off

slow and steady will get you there. if you are motivated and accept the encouragement from MFP friends that will make it a breeze

i'm at my goal weight. 5foot one and a half lol, and 49kg....i think that is about 116lb. early days yet but doesn't seem to hard to be around here....still improving my fitness and noticing a change in body shape without change in weight which is perfect. and best of all i feel great...energised and ready to conquer the…

i thought 51kg seemed good...but it really wasn't that difficult, so i thought why not get to my wedding weight of 49kg....and i did!

MFP gives you a target calorie amount to allow you to loose. I exercise so I can eat more. I too was on 1200 calories....and have now lost all that i need to. now maintaining on 1370 plus what i earn from exercise, it works for me, but you must be 100 per cert honest with what goes in and how much exercise you do
