I haven't done the 30ds so I can't compare but I am doing the EA Active on the Wii and for me it is very challenging. I suspect that for someone who is already at your level it would be an unnecessary tool.

Sounds like you had an awesome brother. My favorite memory is when I was about 8 or 9 and Santa bought me a giant stuffed frog and a frog comforter and sheet and pillow case set. I was not a girly girl and this was the most cool thing I had ever recieved. I guess it was the feeling that my parents "got" me. Merry Christmas…

We do some candy, beef jerky, new toothbrush and personal hygiene items each year. For a 2 or 3 year old you could do bath crayons or water tints, bandaids, brush or comb. My kids must think that Santa is a neat freak lol.

I have saved so much money by not going out to lunch at work. Now I take a bag of frozen veggies to work each day. At lunch I poke a few holes in the bag, throw the whole thing in the microwave and then slice open the bag for an instant bowl. I can even justify spending money on fruit and produce I would have said was too…

I am in at 60 miles.

When the alarm goes off at 4:45 I want to roll over and go back to sleep... but I don't. When I step outside and it's cold and foggy and I want to head back inside... but I don't. When I take my first steps and my mind says "you don't have to do this, you can just walk"... but I don't. When I finish my run and I am sweaty…

I am in Fresno, the raisin capitol. Grew up in San Diego and lived in Stockton for a while. Hope to someday retire to the foothills in gold country of CA. Have lived all over the country, but CA always feels like home. I am working on losing 85 lbs and will be running my first 5k thanksgiving.

I didn't want to buy any new clothes until I hit my first goal of being out of the obese range (3 more lbs to go) and it wasn't a big deal until this last 5 lbs and now my pants are falling off and my shirts seem clownish so I bought a velour sweatsuit yesterday (size 12-14 down from a size 20) and a couple of long sleeve…

Awesome! Had a work function last night and saw someone for the first time in 6mos and their jaw dropped when they saw me.

Welcome and congrats on taking your first steps. We all started one step at a time.

That's great. Having your spouse on the journey makes every step easier.
