Kennel assistant at a vet clinic. I cleaned the kennels/cages, fed and watered the animals, gave them daily medicine, etc.

No. Lowering your calories even farther will NOT help you lose weight faster. You can't starve your body and expect it to let go of fat.

step away from the scale!! People get discouraged because they use the scale as their one and only guide for weight loss. Take pictures and measurements. Just because they scale isn't moving doesn't meant your body isn't changing.

dealing with that now and I didn't think i was going to have be able to work out but i took some ibuprofen and rested with the heating pad for a while and now i'm about to do my work out!

I've never used one but a good friend of mine bought one for her pit bull who is absolutely terrified of storms and fireworks and she said it has helped tremendously. She said she is no longer a nervous wreck during storms and the fireworks during new years eve didn't bother her either. I thought they were a load of crap…

I have. I started out at 1200 calories(2lb loss per week) and ate back my exercise calories. That worked for a little while then i changed it to 1.5 a week and now i believe i have it set at 1lb a week and i continue to eat my exercise calories.

a large apple is over 100 calories anyways, i'd rather have the tasty baguette!! Wendy's chili is like 310 calories and quite tasty and filling.

Nope, also MFP's protein settings are very low to begin with. I would actually recommend upping your protein

I've used pandora before and have a 2g data package and I didn't notice it using any significant amount. I use it when i'm walking with my dog for about 45 minutes.

No thank you!! I know lots of older women who have spent most of their adult life tanning and they all look like leather now....no thanks! Not to mention most people over do tanning and look ridiculous. Being a dark brownish orange isn't natural and you aren't fooling anyone.

I will never understand people who stick their face in front of an unknown dog, it's about the dumbest thing you can do. It's her fault she got bit, people blame the dog because they can't own up to their own stupidity.

It should already be figured into the setting that you use to describe your daily activity. Your setting should be either lightly active or active.

Eat more! 1000 is not nearly enough calories, ESPECIALLY when you're doing an intense workout like insanity.

My biggest reason is that I love the outdoors and i love hiking, kayaking, cycling, etc. I want to be in shape so I can do these things more often and more efficiently. I've gone on a few hikes in the years and they were a struggle! Also want to feel good about myself and not be self conscience in clothes and swim suits.
