spot on. good post!

a negative attitude will keep you from seeing the weight loss. I can notice my loss in the first week. is it a huge difference? no but i still see the small changes, my stomach doesn't hang out so much, the fat rolls on my back are slightly smaller, etc. Take pictures every so often, they help us see what we forget to see…

eat more protein. you are eating mostly foods high in carbs. Protein makes us feel full for longer periods of time.. Carbs make us think we're full for a few minutes.

i estimated my calories before i got an HRM and i ate those all back, now that i have an HRM I still eat them all back. i don't know why people over stress about these things. it's not an exact science

500-900 calories a day is literally starving yourself. Keep it up and you will do serious damage to your body. Honestly i'm so tired of people posting threads like this, did you gain the weight in 1 week? NO! So stop acting like it should drop right off. Eat a healthy amount of calories(more than 1200 at the very least)…

i've only lost 4lbs since starting again and i can already see the difference, so can my fiance and family. My fiance was all "wow baby you look so much skinnier" after 2 weeks of working out. It all depends on the person, everyone loses weight in different areas. I tend to start losing from my stomach area first so it's…

I have done 30 day shred several times. The first two times I did it(back to back) i had awesome results. The next time I did it not so much but that was probably because my body was use to it and my diet was not good. 2 months of 30 day shred. i went from a 15/16 pants to 11/12 and an xl top to a l top(sometimes a medium…

ymca automatically withdraws the money on either the 1st or 15th of the month, your choice they do this so you can't skip out on payments. No problems.

stevia maybe? i never use to like grape fruit but my dad bought some and he needed help eating them before they went bad so i said ah heck i'll eat one and i actually liked it! now i have half a grape fruit for breakfast every day. If you get them when they're good and ripe they are actually very good.

i started using balsamic vinegar and olive oil. very tasty and a lot healthier than ranch, also lower calorie

the scale is a filthy liar. Losing inches and noticing your clothes fit better is FAR FAR FAR more important than a number on a scale. ditch the scale and keep doing what you're doing!

do you use an hrm for your workouts or are you going by mfp? A gain is normal, it is discouraging to see but it does happen when we do new workouts because our muscles usually are sore and we retain more water. Using before/after pictures are far more important as well as taking measurements. That is your best way to know…

Yes you most certainly should. 1200 calories is already a very low amount, going below that and then burning more calories off with exercise is asking for trouble. If you continue on this path your body is going to stop functioning properly, your hair will lose it's shine, possibly start to fall out, your nails will be…

huge difference!! your whole body looks so much better! legs, tummy, arms, face all are smaller! keep it up!

Your body definitely needs at least one rest day to let your muscle repair themselves. If you keep doing 3 hrs a day 7 days a week you're going to end up injuring yourself.

sounds like a pretty great start to me. It's okay to have cookies sometimes, that's not going to destroy your goals as long as they're within you calories for the day. sagging can be combated by lifting weights and slowly losing. If you lose the weight too quickly then your skin won't have time to bounce back You might…

I stopped playing for about a year and a half but i just recently re-subbed. I'm enjoying just doing whatever i please, my guild is completely dead which is sad so i don't do any raiding or anything major, just quests or archaeology or whatever i want. I play on sargeras, character meepoe(alliance)

why does something have to be low carb? I like trying new things. It sounds like a good snack so why not?

this needs a bump, i just discovered this recipe and it sounds delicious!

When I was doing jillian michaels 30 day shred, before i had an HRM, i would log it as circuit training with MFP and it would say i burned around 300 calories. with an HRM come to find out i was burning maybe 240 if i really pushed myself. It's definitely worth the investment I think, plus i enjoy seeing my heart rate…
-
if you don't have an HRM you can center it as circuit training- general. It won't be exactly how many calories you burned but it's a decent estimate.

i'm on level 3 and still can't do more than a couple real push ups....maybe in time i'll be able to

you only did insanity less than a month? abs don't happen in a month. if you want abs and you want to keep them then you need to stick with exercise

Don't be so strict with it. You don't have to eat just spinach and chicken and whatever else you mentioned, eat a more normal but healthy diet. The key to weight loss is to change your relationship with food, you can't go all strict and crazy with it unless you can actually eat that way for life, otherwise you need to find…
