of course you can, but you will also most likely end up "skinny fat" which is unhealthy and everybody knows muscle is sexy anyways

I have one, at first i was excited to have it but since i do practically the same workout everyday(30 day shred) i don't wear it every time. my calorie burn only varies a few calories each day so it's a bit redundant. if you do different workouts then yes i would say get one, especially if you use exercise machines because…

do you net 1500 calories a day or is it 1500 and then minus the 600+ from workouts?
-
You're asking for 2lbs a week and that's not actually realistic nor healthy for most people. 5lbs a month is great You should eat back your exercise calories because MFP already gives you a deficit regardless of exercise so when you exercise you're making that deficit larger and when it becomes too large your body doesn't…

toss the scale, losing inches is much more important and a victory than a number on a scale. If you're losing inches then you're losing weight, simple as that. Don't let the scale rule you.
-
I was 225 when i started the shred, i'm about half way through and have lost 5lbs so far but have reshaped my body A LOT Don't focus on just the number of the scale, take before and after pics and measurements if you can, the scale is not a true testament to weight loss.

i'm about to start week 2, i agree it does get boring but it brings results so I stick with it.
-
9lbs in a month isn't bad, that's fairly normal especially at first. Unless you want to be skinny fat though i would recommend adding a few more calories and some exercise in.
-
it's really a great workout, i did it 2 years ago and had great results. unfortunately i fell off the wagon for quite some time and I am just now getting back on it so i am doing 30 day shred all over again,

you could be like my sister and just crush their imagination from day 1. She never let them believe in santa clause or tooth fairy or easter bunny or anything else like that.....and she wonders why they have no imagination. Seriously don't worry about it, kids figure it out on their own in due time. Just let them be kids.

reminds me of a roommate my sister had. she found her hysterically crying in her room one day and thinking something was seriously wrong she rushed to her side and asked what was wrong, the girl responds "it's just so hard being so beautiful" my sister had to run from the room before she burst out laughing. Pretty or not,…

eh, there are creeps no matter where you go(internet and real life). You will always have to weed through the jerks/creeps/psychos to find a good man/woman

My brother completed Ripped in 30 with me and is also doing 6 week 6 pack with me. his before/after pictures aren't the best. but he lost about 15lbs and several inches with Ripped in 30

That's incredibly strange. I personally do not understand people who post pictures of themselves naked or half naked or naked but with their hands covering certain parts, etc. on the internet because once it's on the internet it's never going away and you do not know where it will end up or who will see it. It's like…

lmfao this is the best!

I'll give you that. Way too many people on this site respond with "oh you're just gaining muscle" Um no, you don't gain muscle on a calorie deficit. But it's been hashed and rehashed on here so many times, it's unreal.
-
Glad we got that covered, since this topic is most definitely not posted every fricken week.
-
Not necessarily. It's more about patterns, if a person continually cheats on a person or has cheated on every person they've been with then yes they will most likely always be a cheater. If a person messes up once and confesses about it and has actual remorse then chance are they're just a human being who makes mistakes.…

me too! WTF do you people eat all day, lettuce and veggies? sure you may feel full but that doesn't mean your diet is healthy or that you're eating neough.

A child only needs to be more active, they shouldn't obsess over calories. Make sure she has healthy meals and snacks to eat and is more active and she'll do just fine.
-
Also if crash dieting worked so well for you then you wouldn't be back here with that same 60lbs to lose. and I swear to baby jesus if you blame it on having a child i might punch my monitor.
-
I didn't bother reading all of the replies so this has probably already been pointed out BUT Most of us are not here to achieve a goal on the scale and then stop. Most of us are here to lose the weight in a healthy manner AND become fit in the process AND continue on with a fit and healthy lifestyle. Yes you may lose…

woah whats with the snack nazi? It's perfectly normal for children to have snacks. Children generally needs more calories than adults because they are growing and should be active(running around and playing, etc.) Now a child should not be snacking on cookies, chips, soda, ice cream, etc., but there is nothing wrong with…

hate to break it to you but a woman isn't likely to respond because you travel so much and are only in a town for a day or two or whatever. Anytime I've ever gotten a message on a dating site from a guy who was only in the area for work i immediately thought "booty call" Odds are women are thinking the same way. I would…
