There are many benefits to posting anonymously, especially to a forum of people with similar interests. We are humans here and many of us are trying to help.

Focus on the positive, success is never final and failure here is not fatal. Avoid fried foods, unnecessary carbs (breads, a lot of dairy, high fructose corn syrup, cocktails, etc.), restaurants, snack machines, but rather go for the basics you prepare for yourself: proteins, fruits, vegetables. If you're on the go, grab a…

This works for me, I've lost 64 pounds and have kept it off. These foods help me feel full because I can eat more of them for less calories. Bread/pasta/wheat products and dairy rack up calories without much benefit.

I agree with this. Work daily, but think of long-term success.

Scariest comment ever, and equally scary is the person who agreed. To the original post though, it's just carbon. As long as she doesn't inhale it into her lungs (congestion, carcinogen) she should be good to go. Carbon is used in a lot of water filtration systems to purify water.

I'm 1,200 a day to lose weight, 1,500 to maintain, 1,600+ to gain, all like clockwork. I have to be careful because I have to increase when I get to the low end else it's very obvious I don't work out enough. I'm sure for others there are other considerations such as age, metabolism, height, etc. but the round about…

Agreed, and additionally it's good for your mind/spirit as well as your body to teach yourself that you control your body instead of your body controlling you.
-
False, but it was true before my last visit. TNP will post a joke.
-
True always. TNP is an online gamer.

-
False and I am grateful. TNP lives/lived in a one bedroom apartment and ate ramen noodles to save money for rent.
