Kung Fu. Running is good, but I find it boring comparatively.

It's probably the best gym I've seen. That being said, I enjoyed doing Kung Fu much more, but it did cost more and required dedication. These days I do neither but certainly should.

For those who are wondering what the difference is between the east and west side of the Atlantic fish & chips... Fish & Chips in the UK (actual size is 4x larger): Fish & Chips in the U.S. (Actual potion size shown here): For heaven's sake! Britain, come over here and show our country how to do this right please >_<

There no such thing as a living or dead virus because the definition of what is living or dead is still up for scientific debate for these microorganisms. Yes, it can be inactivate, but the principle is to inject flu viruses into your body to evoke an autoimmune response. Don't take my or anyone else's word on it: "Each…

Fevers require energy/calories (more than usual at rest), I would still eat, just avoid dairy or other temperature sensitive foods.

Which is a greater offense, being told something that someone else is thinking or not knowing what someone else is thinking?

This reminds me of the commercial where there's a man approaching a woman at the office: Man: "So when are you due?" Woman: "EXCUSE ME?!"

Weight is a personal and touchy subject. I don't mention it unless it's one of my guy friends with casual mention, "Lost some weight there?", "training for a marathon?' and let it go. In all other cases, society deems it taboo. If you do it for yourself, you'll never be disappointed. If your husband notices, that's a…

Influenza is a mutating virus with multiple strains so there's no such thing as immunity in this case. Getting the vaccine does give you a 'mini-flu' (which is how the vaccine works, it gives you the virus so your body can build of defenses against it), but it affects different people to varying degrees. Some feel just as…

I disagree with the 'eat it or else' mentality. I was raised this way and it caused me to hate many foods and refused to try new things. Once I was away from home for a while, I tried real Chinese food (not La Choy in a can/box) and discovered I loved it! Trying new things should be encouraged, never enforced. Perhaps…

Think of the children as well and perhaps someday you'll meet someone dedicated to having your own also. Being friends even bears consequences at this point.

Have you looked into Tea and Coffee? I can't do caffeine so I'm decaf for both, but they offer a great variety of flavours.

I like Wii Fit Plus, it has a very accurate scale (as long as you have it on a hard surface or board instead of carpet), some good yoga and strength training, but I use the jogging more than anything. I don't like going outside in the winter so it's perfect for an indoor ten minute run when there's ice outside.

This is a good tool as well, gives a nice explanation and appears accurate without having to measure arm diameter and such: http://www.healthyforms.com/helpful-tools/body-fat-percentage.php

I think the expression on the dog's face sums it up.

I say "I'm done with the scale, now I'm going by the mirror".

Well said. Additionally some people are earnestly concerned with their fellow person going to extremes and harming themselves. Then again, some people feel the need to control others because trying to grapple with their own life is too much of a mess.

Type it in Euro-style with the day first, then month, then year.

Congrats all! Being born is an awesome thing. Mine is wrong though, it only works for humans.

Hehe, it's one of those slippery slopes that can chain react to other things. If this kind of thing is required of businesses, why don't we ask sinus infection patients to log a microbiological analysis test report before going out into the general public? (I use this test at work to show that products I've worked on are…

Good thoughts and sounds about right in my opinion.

Agreed on all points and well said. If they were to do it, I'd want it to be honest surely. I'd even accept "about 450 calories" or "~450cal"

Surprisingly a lot of people just don't care, and to their credit if there is no problem or don't feel they have a problem, why should they? For those of us who do however, I think it'd be a way to market to us instead of leaving us an untapped, fearful population.

Maybe customer demand and competition would make it come to be instead of having to regulate it, that would be nice.
-
Perhaps we should teach children about calories, exercise and weight management instead of trying to ban all foods that could possibly cause a problem when consumed in excess? (Soylent Green anyone?) How about we fix our adult obesity problem first. Children are excellent followers of example.

Thank you for posting this! Every time I say it I get this look from people like, "What's wrong with you? People don't get sick from Mayo!"

I went two years without any fried or similar fast foods, then got nostalgic for Wings to Go as it was one of my favorites back in the day. After having about a dozen wings, I was literally lying on the floor in pain from the grease. It was like getting punched in the stomach from the inside. Although I'll have something…

Thanks for the heads up, this just goes to justify why I don't eat these 'healthy' foods X-D. I noticed all the buns/rolls, fries and cheese in the pictures. While I'll justify small amounts of cheese, the other two are on my 'no' list until my goal is reached.

All good choices as well. Add to my list, "projects" by teammates and management. I never say "let me see what I have going on and I'll get back with you in a moment", it's always "yes" and before I realize it I'm swamped trying to complete everything because of my 'superman complex' (I believe I can handle a lot more than…
