  • I also had this while pregnant with my first. It started around 22 weeks. I visited the chiro every week and hed adjust my pubic bone. He also showed me how to do it myself. I found it painful to walk also so kept exercise light. Im 15 weeks now, no pain now, but Im sure I will get it again and be ready. It went away…
  • I am due March 31 with my second! We have already announced to everyone (I'm 11 weeks today). There are people at work that still don't know, only because I am uncomfortable bringing it up myself. If anyone asks, I tell. :)
  • I am due March 26th with my second baby. So, I guess that makes me between 6-7 weeks. My first ultrasound is next Friday. I will feel so much better once I see it and hear a heartbeat. :)
  • My 14 month old eats exactly what we eat. We eat very healthy, although not organic. He is not a big meat eater, so I give him hummus, cheese and beans when he wont eat the meat portion. He looovvesss veggies and fruit so its usually pretty simple. I try to give a protein, starch and veggie at every meal and fruit as…
  • I got all 3 runs in this week. Did week 5 day 3 on Saturday. I jogged the ENTIRE 20 minutes! so proud of myself. I stopped for like 10 seconds for water and crossing an intersection. Week 6 day 1 after work today! =)
  • PRESENT! ;) I finished the last day of Week 4 yesterday, ran the whole time I was supposed to and added on a nice sprint at the end before the cool down. Week5 Day1 Tomorrow!
  • I use my fitbit.
  • I would just like to say that it IS possible for your body to fail you and your child. It happens. And spreading anything to contrary is where the real misinformation is. I spent a month trying to nurse a baby who never gained an ounce, listening to people feed me the same line over and over, "You're doing everything…
  • I eat all full fat items. The low/no fat items add extra sugar and crap to make it taste better. I've recently cut out at least 95% of processed foods. Read the ingredients. Amazing what they stuff in there.
  • I'm 30 with a 7 1/2 month old. Moms add me too!
  • I'm also with you on this! I tried eating everywhere from 1800-2100. My supposed TDEE is 2100, but I do not lose unless I eat 1500-1700. I seem to maintain at 1800-1900. This is still quite a bit of food, but was told to eat more to lose. I either gained or maintained. This has been for almost 2 years. I had a baby 7…
  • I also miss dancing! We don't go to clubs anymore since we got married (don't enjoy the atmosphere anymore). I should make time for it at home like you did. I recently bought a GroupOn for 10 Zumba classes which is a lot of dance moves. I'm going to start next week!!! =) Until then, I might bust out my Dance party Wii game…
  • Now I am really wishing I hadn't read this thread. =( Here are my stats: 30yrs old Pre-pregnancy- 134 Weight 2 days before birth- 178 - YIKES! 44lb gain 6 weeks PP- 157 7 months PP (today exactly)- 167 I nursed for 3 months, then lost my supply. Gained 10 pounds trying to keep it. I'm pretty active and log everything I…
  • Would you please send me an invite too! =)
  • I did the calculations and it is not far off of my BMR with my bodyfat %. I think I was underestimating how active I was, that my Fitbit wasnt registering (lifting weights, carrying baby, household stuff, gardening). I also think I was changing too many things at once. I am eating at my percieved maintence for a few weeks…
  • Thank you for your reply! I have upped my calories to 2100 for a diet break for a couple weeks and will try 1800-1900 as my cut. =)
  • I gained a pound since the last time I weighed, last Tuesday. I have a fitbit which tracks my activity and I log religiously. I calculated also with scooby. My first comment says I am not nursing so thats not an issue here. I have gained a total of 9 pounds in the last 12 weeks. The last 5 weeks (after I stopped nursing) I…
  • Well, I gained another pound. =( How is this even possible?
  • Thanks ks4e! I know I put on more than I should have, but it sucks I have to work SOOO hard to lose it while others lose it effortlessly.
  • I see what you are saying. But.... I am not way under or over what I should be eating, therefore I would think there would be some progress, even if its not on the scale. I am going to start measuring myself since that stupid scale lies anyhow. LOL It sucks to gain weight after you start a cut; it seems counter productive.…
  • I started walking more, but haven't started any weights or other cardio yet. I thought small steps so I don't die. LOL I weighted myself 2xs a week and it was about a 1.5 pound gain each week. I lost 1lb, then would gain it back at the end of the week, so I would say slowly gained it? I didn't think I was that much more…
  • Well, as soon as I stopped nursing I lowered my calories so I know that's not the problem. =( I am not eating enough to be gaining like this! Maybe my body is just in shock. I am a pretty active person so my maintanence is 2000, so I eat about 1700 which is a decent cut. I guess I should just be patient as this may be…
  • Yup, I get all of those comments too. I'm 35 weeks and now everyone keeps saying 'almost there'! Not quite, I still have 5 weeks left dumb *kitten*. My own sister says "wow, look how huge you are! You belly is really out there." ugh!
  • I also had this since week 23. My chiropractor adjusts it and showed me how to do it myself. I probably would have gained 20 more pounds if I didnt get it adjusted, as I could barely walk. You do NOT have to deal with it (as doctors would say). =)
  • 35 pounds at 31 weeks. =(
  • Had a great check-up today! I passed my glucose test, iron levels are excellent, doctor said my weight was good (that is a first) and keep it up with my diet! woot woot!
  • OMG! I laughed so hard I cried. Thanks for sharing!
  • Haha! I went to a bonfire Saturday night with friends I haven't seen in months (I'm 27 weeks). One of the guys, older and gay, exclaimed "Wow, you've gained alot of weight! Do you plan on loosing it after the baby comes?" Ummmm, first I said "Never say that to a pregnant women. If you must make a comment, say "The baby is…
