I wouldn't say my suggestion to not return it is wrong....I was simply giving her another option and suggestion to try since my HRM did the same thing. I wasn't saying "don't return it because wrist HRM's are better than the chest strap". My HRM will update calories burned when you update your heart rate. That's all:) If…

1) I slept in till 9am in my new sheets! 2) Did a really great 45 minute Turbo Fire workout and burned 700 cals! 3) I bought the hottest pair or sparkly gold stilettos today to wear on my birthday:) and I also ate really well today and have plenty of cals left for supper and maybe a snack tonight:)

I had a nice long reply with a thank you to all that gave input and then it all got erased somehow! lol Sooooo thanks guys!

Mine did the same thing the first time I tried it! Don't take it back yet! I read more on it and it said for best results to check your heart rate before you start your workout, during the warm up, during the actual workout and then during the cool down. I tried that and it started working.

I also work at a high school and I found I was always getting sick. I'd be just getting over a cold and I would come down with strep throat or a flu or something equally annoying, and it would always set me back on working out and weight loss! Ever since I started taking the daily Cold FX, I can feel that I might be coming…

ooohh ok that's a good tip! Thanks!

hahaha my thoughts exactly! It's a watch actually so its nice and tight on my wrist....not sure what the deal is. I read a little in the manual and all I can think of was maybe I have to update my heart rate throughout the workout. I don't know. I'm so confused!

I used to.....but then when I started to lose, I just told him. It made me feel better about my progress for some reason:)

I feel for you! I am in the same boat! My suggestion (and this came from a friend of mine who asked her trainer) is that maybe you need a rest day? You said you are working out 7 days a week at least an hour a day right? I'm no expert, but I do know that your body needs time to recover. This could be why you are not losing…

Exercise.....

Absolutely!!! When I am already in a good mood especially...and I am working really hard during cardio....Its like I feel so strong and proud of myself, I just can't help but to get emotional. Also, when I am on the eliptical, I usually always have "I got a feeling" is it called? by the Black Eyed Peas? Well that was the…

Very inspiring! Thanks for that! and for the laugh! PS....I may or may not have read your post in a Texas accent lol....I thought it might be more effective that way!

Soooo crazy....I was planning on making fish tacos tonight for supper because we had Tilapia fillets for supper last night and I had leftovers! yay!
-
aaww this got me a little choked up!
-
I was thinking of doing the same thing....but since I don't have a HRM I have no idea how many calories I'm burning.
-
I swear by Billy Blanks Ab Bootcamp! It never fails, if I do it for 2 weeks straight...I have amazing results and I always go back to it!

Do you get to move around a lot at work (walking etc)? My sister is a nurse and used to work at the hospital (12 hour shifts) and would wear ankle weights since she did a lot of walking while at work. Just a little something extra when you don't have time for full blown work outs. Hope that helps

bahahahaha love it!

This morning I had a piece of whole grain toast, spread avocado on it and sliced up a boiled egg. It was filling and lasted me till lunch....and that was with 2 turbo fire workouts after breakfast. Also, I agree with using it to replace mayo.

very helpful! Thanks folks! Not hungry yet...just finished supper. I guess I was really just wondering if I could have a snack later hahaha No but really, I wanted to be mindful of my weekly calories and exercise.

absolutely! you are smaller everywhere....boobs, waist, hips, legs....I even see a difference in your face! Great job and keep up the good work! You are looking awesome!

For me, exercise was difficult at first. I started really working out 6 years ago and managed to keep at it all through college etc. I had to force myself at first, but eventually it became part of my day....like drinking coffee for some (and also for me). If I don't work out....I literally feel like crap. It takes some…

Great job!!!! I can totally relate to this! I work at a high school and we go back on Aug. 30th....Sooooo not looking forward to it, especially since I like to work out before work and after work......2 times of the day that I am pretty tired. All summer I've let myself wake up naturally, drink my coffee in bed, have my…

sleep! How some people wear plaid pj's, big ol' nightgowns....and even....underwear to bed....I'll never know! Let it breath people....let it breath! bahahaha

I have Zumba for xbox Kinect....and I really like it! I haven't done it in awhile, but its a lot of fun! And for someone like myself, who is always looking for more intensity in her workouts, this was actually pretty good, for those days when I don't feel like doing Insanity or my HIIT (Turbo Fire) workouts.
