LOL on the "Go Lytely" boat! I am an NP (In a hospital) and I saw a patient who had a colonoscopy the day before.....he told me "when they came in with that HUGE bottle of stuff to drink I thought I was getting punked! Yeah, we had been using YNAB also and love it. Just had a hard time keeping up with it. It was sort of tedious to input transactions and I've fallen away from it. Of course it might not be so tedious if I also give up my check register so I'm not double entering! I love the envelope system concept.....

I track my fiber too- I just think it's important to have enough fiber, and since it decreases your available carbs I like to know that in relation to carb intake (I'm not a strict low carber, but really want to minimize carbs and keep them healthy).

Looking at what you eat, I would try to anchor your carbs with some protein. the protein will cause the carbs to get metabolized slower and won't cause a spike in insulin that causes hunger/low energy a few hours later. I have tried WW a few times, knowing it's a pretty good sound program. I agree with what someone said about hating the meetings. Thanks for all the advice! I forgot to mention, I have to get up for work at 5:30, so when I say "get up early" it's 4:45 or so. I like the idea of starting with 10 minutes early, then gradually increasing it to more (at least 30!). It's so early, I would workout at home so maybe I can find a "text message" accountability…
