  • @ShannonOMAD Yes!! That definitely helps and is way more delicious than plain ol' water!!
  • Hi Shannon welcome! We are a very suppportive and active group and I'm thrilled you are a part of it. Drinking water can be a chore. The first thing I do is chug a 20 ounce glass of water right when I wake up. It helps me to drink more throughout the day. You have set some great goals for yourself and I'm excited to see…
  • Sooooo.....please don't think I'm going completely nuts ha! But I somehow stumbled across this blog about people having success eating zero carb. They only eat MEAT!! I found their stories interesting and of course this intrigues me because all I do is read nutrtion articles. Every body is unique and what works for one…
  • @leveejohn Thanks for the suggestions!! I will have to try different methods and see if there is a difference between raw, steamed, quantity, etc. I usually buy organic, however, I think the salad did me in because of the quantity. I don't think my body was able to digest such a massive portion. Luckily the food baby went…
  • I'm at an average body weight and it is a struggle to get down to my goal weight. So yes it will eventually slow down but if we stay consistent we will get there!
  • I always admire people who ride their bike to work! I know I could do it in the morning but coming home...no way! I'm always too tired!! I think this is such a great habit to get yourself in and I'm sure you will feel energized! Let us know how it goes!!
  • Yes, I'm interested to hear how this new strategry works out for you!!
  • OMG! I used to be sponsored by Sketchers ha! Their office is in Manhattan Beach down the street from where I used to live in LA. Glad you found use for them on your treadmill! By the way I'm doing my 48 hour fast today! Second one all thanks to you Brenda! You Rock girlfriend!
  • Trackers are the best! They really do motivate you to get all your "steps" in or whatever else you strive for! I sit on my rump 9 hours a day at work so I know I'm not getting the minimal movement I need. The struggle...ha!! Happy to see you are having fun and finding new ways to motivate you!!
  • I had double this serving. My fiancé wanted me to pace myself! Ha! 2 salmon and 2 all beef sausage links! No veg tonight.
  • @amflautist I actually was inspired by @brendagaudette since she does one every week. I tried it for the first time last week and it wasn't hard at all. I was so surprised but I was 3 weeks into OMAD so that helped a lot. I'm sure you could do it but I would just get used to doing OMAD for a while first! I'm all about baby…
  • Meal of champions!! Now I'm craving popcorn again haha!!
  • You're on a roll!! Back to your 2 miles...whoo hoo!!
  • I eat so much healthy fats in my diet that I thankfully don't crave sugar anymore! I was a huge sugar addict and it is nice to be free from that!
  • People always say "so you are starving yourself" with their eyeballs coming out of their head. Ha! I just say...it works for me and I like it!
  • At first I thought ACV was nasty...now I look forward to it!
  • @brendagaudette I know!! Why did I do it haha! I'm incorporating another 48 hour fast this week! I chose to do that instead of a spin class. Thanks for your support!
  • You are so right!! Thank you. Yeah...I ate a ton in one sitting and won't make that mistake again!
  • So that huge salad I had last night was delicious but I'm not used to eating so much ruffage and I woke up with a huge destended stomach. I looked like I was 6 months pregnant. Ugh! I hate how sensitve my stomach is!! I think I eat so healthy but my body just turns against me sometimes. I am bloated and puffy everywhere.…
  • Hahahahaha!! I love it!!
  • You're doing great and it seems like your body is responding so well to intermittent fasting! Just do your best everyday and never quit!! You got this...
  • @leveejohn I know how you feel. I have been working really hard, however, my body just doesn't want to let go of the fat! You will get those 3 pounds off in no time. It is hard when you travel. Get back into your routine Mr.!!
  • Yes, I'm sure if you eat more nutritious food your body will start shedding the fat! Ha! Or you can be like me and eat really healthy and still don't lose any weight ha! But I've messed up my system quite a bit with all the crazy past dieting I have done. At least you are still seeing results!!
  • Wow! I can see such a big difference in your transformation photo! You look great! I hate feeling guilty if I eat something that I didn't plan but I know that is an unhealthy way to look at food. I'm happy you fueled up for your workout and it gave you the energy you needed!! See...you are figuring it out!
  • That looks so good!! Can't wait for my OMAD. Only 7 more hours......ekkk....haha!!
  • You are almost there!!! Nice job on your treadmill workouts!
  • Yes balancing the food and exercise is tough! I feel your pain ha! Joining a running group sounds awesome and it is nice to have a friend who wants to workout. I like working out too because it makes me feel strong. You will have to just see what works and adjust accordingly. It took me a few weeks to find something that…
  • I have a hard time working out and doing OMAD. What I do is have my OMAD in the evening with my fiance Monday through Friday and only workout on Saturday and Sunday when I have 2 meals. More experienced people have been able to workout and do OMAD. I think I will slowy be able to transition to that but it is more important…
  • Yes!!!!!! That is awesome. You will get there just you wait!
  • @amflautis WOW!!! So many beautiful colors and variety. Gorgeous meal!! Enjoy!
