Looking for friends around my age group
Hiya! I'm 17. (I know I'm technically not supposed to be here :( but my birthday is in 9 days) I'm 5'3, 125 lbs from the US and trying to get fit and lose 10 lbs or so. This is my 4th day here. I'm a vegetarian who hopes to transition to vegan within the next year or so. Nice to meet you! :)

FitTea-- Worth it or just another fad?
I'm leaning towards the idea that they're B.S., they just seem like laxatives and we all know that does very little for long term weight loss. However, I have a friend who uses it and disagrees with me. What are your opinions on it?

How Many Calories Did You Eat Before MFP?

For the first time since starting my diet...
I felt full and completely satisfied!!! :D I've found that if I have a lower calorie breakfast (around 250-ish) and give myself 300-400 for lunch, I don't feel like I'm absolutely starving while I'm at class. Do you add raw fruits to your calorie count?
I'm confused if I should be adding the raw fruits/veggies to my daily food count. I know fruits have sugar, but aren't they the good sugars? So do I NEED to count them? IDK, I might just be looking for an excuse to snack and if I replace my snacks with fruits and veggies it might be better.

I'm a big sugar addict. I'm trying to count calories and focus on NOT eating processed sugar. However, that's exactly the type of sugar I crave.
