Wondering if anyone here has used a heart rate monitor while riding dirt bikes, whether it be motocross, enduro, hare scrambles or just trail riding. I used my Wahoo Tickr X on a ride yesterday and it had my heart rate tracked with peaks of 201 bpm, which seems too high. I'm 44, in half decent shape, and barely felt tired…
On July 19th I had a bit of a crash in a race. Ended up with an AC Joint separation, two broken ribs, torn lat, pec, serratus & deltoid. I'm trying to help the recovery and have been told by my ortho to avoid surgery if possible. Anyone have experience with how to rehab to rebuild strength and stability?
