Heart Rate Monitor Accuracy for Motocross

Wondering if anyone here has used a heart rate monitor while riding dirt bikes, whether it be motocross, enduro, hare scrambles or just trail riding.
I used my Wahoo Tickr X on a ride yesterday and it had my heart rate tracked with peaks of 201 bpm, which seems too high.
I'm 44, in half decent shape, and barely felt tired when done riding and it said I had those high peaks and burned 2130 calories.
Wondering if there is some kind of magnetic interference from the motorcycle that could cause the erratic monitoring?

I'm sure there are people who are more experienced for this, but I wouldn't use an HRM to estimate calories from any sort of activity on a motorized bike/vehicle. Your heart rate is going to speed up during these activities for reasons that have nothing to do with calories burnt.

Use a HRM for steady state cardio...

Whatever computer you used obviously thought you were powering the bike yourself.

Seems like that would be adrenaline.

Why? Why? Why were you monitoring an event involving riding a motorized vehicle with an HRM?

Might as well wear it while riding space mountain.

Accuracy for heart beats and accuracy for calories are completely different things!

I used to road race and my HR would be off the scale sitting on the starting grid, that's not calorie burning.
That's the stress and excitement of knowing in a few seconds time you are going to be arriving at the first corner at high speed, with cold tyres, on the very limit of adhesion, while surrounded by 35 other nut-cases.....
