Looking for accountability partners - F 5’6, 78kg
After trying and failing on my own, I want to try it again with some accountability partners! I’m not sure whether it’s easier on this board or if friending will help more!

Weighed myself this morning, I'm officially obese according to BMI
I've been in denial about my weight gain, but can no longer pretend I'm ok. I'm hoping this is my lightbulb moment and that I'm going to take my weight seriously. I'm still in shock to see the numbers on the scale. I would like some accountability partners please. Maybe that's what would help me stick to logging my food.…

I want surprise my husband
My husband is working away during the week this month, and I would love for him to notice I've lost weight by the end of the month. I've been steadily putting on weight this year, and now need to lose 45lbs (obviously not all this month!) I'm hoping as he's away it'll be easier to not snack (he's a big snacker but has a…

18 kg to lose!! Sedentary lifestyle
I just put in my goal weight as current weight on mfp (to see how many calories I'd need to maintain) and it came up that I'd "lost" 18 kg. I knew I'd put on weight but that's so much more than my brain was thinking. I've hurt my back a few months ago so even walking can be painful, so it's going to take a lot longer to…

Using a timer?
I'm not drinking enough water, at all (probably one or two glasses a day) I've tried a chart for a while but soon gave up, and never drank more than 5 glasses. I'm thinking a timer might work? As in drink every hour? Has anyone else tried that, or got any other ideas?

Very simple abs exercises?
Can anyone share some abs exercises for a very unfit beginner? Even when I was younger I couldn't do the traditional ones. Thanks!

Put on 5kg in 6 months
Today I am trying to get back on the band wagon, as I've just realised that all the weight I lost since baby number 2 I've steadily put back on. Went clothes shopping and I no longer fit in size 14... All in all rather annoyed with myself!! I have been trying to walk more (as I never seem to get much time without the kids…

Seen photos of myself
Had a lovely time with family recently and enjoyed seeing the photos but I've put on so much weight!! I've calculated that when I was thin I used to walk about 6 miles everyday and these days I'm lucky if I do half that a week! So I've decided I'm going to start walking again, hopefully twice a day. I tried running but…

stress and boredom eating
What do you do to prevent stress and boredom eating? I find myself eating everything in sight, especially when I'm tired, stress and bored (yep, I'm all three at the moment!) I'm a sahm with 2 kids under 4, so free time is pretty much non existent.

NSV!
My engagement ring fits again! It didn't even really fit at my wedding 6 years ago! I just tried it on to see how much I'd still need to lose and it fitted! It's first thing in the morning so it'll likely be too tight by this afternoon but it fits :-)

hurt my heel running
I'm doing couch to 5k and can finally run 20 minutes. It's a slow run, but I've managed to hurt my foot, in the middle of my heel. Is it best to stop running until it's no longer painful? If so, any idea how long that will take to heal?

getting closer to fitting in goal dress
I bought my goal dress 6 years ago on sale. They didn't have my size so I bought the smaller size thinking I'd lose the weight. In hindsight I should have bought the bigger size as I would have had much more wear out of it! But it's getting closer and closer to fitting. Can't quite zip it up, but I'm hoping it'll fit by…

a NSV... that leads to disappointment... kinda
I've managed day 2 of couch to 5k! (That's my NSV, didn't think I'd manage the first day!) Disappointment when I went to buy new running leggings, to find out that I'm bigger than I thought, even after losing 3 KGS.... But it makes me more determined to keep running and keeping an eye on food.

cutting out soda
I've just realised that by cutting out soda and a few biscuits, I now stay in my calorie intake without too much effort! It helps that I'm breastfeeding so have got calories set to maintain instead of lose, but still, didn't really realise how much drinks were a big issue for me!

has anyone bought running shoes in Chichester, west sussex uk?
Hi, I hear that to get good shoes I need to try and find a shop with a treadmill so they can test the best shoes for my running? I've never even seen a shop like that, but Google tells me there's 2 nearby. Can anyone recommend one? Chichester or Bognor Regis. Can't go much further! Thanks

tips to avoid snacking please
I have an issue with snacking mindlessly. My toddler wants snacks throughout the day day, and I tend to give her something and have the same, even though I'm not particularly hungry. So, how do I stop that? Any tips would be great, thanks!

question about breastfeeding and calories
Hello, I'm currently breastfeeding my baby, but who like to lose some weight at the same time (but not so much that it affects breastfeeding) I'm pretty sedentary, but should I put myself as lightly active to account for the 300 to 500 calories I'm burning a day just by feeding the baby?
