How do you figure calories associated with exercise. Example 3 sets of 10 bench presses or curling. Does the amount of weight increase calories? Is the time lifting?

Hi! My name is John and I have used this tool for a while now so I thought I'd check isn't the community. I'm currently 46 and weigh 274 lbs. my goal is to get down between 200 & 225. I don't really follow a specific diet. I have just cut out most of my wasted calories and work out. I have lost a lil over 15 lbs this year.
