My daughter is a dancer and has to have ankle surgery this week. We are looking for ideas of excercises she can still do to stay in shape. Thanks!

How do you know how many calories to eat a day?
The settings on here say to do 1200 but that seems a little low. Any advice? I am 5'3 and 198lbs.

MFP SETTINGS HELP
How do you know what the right amount of calories a day is correct? Do you use the basic MFP set up or do you adjust it differently. It seems the generic is only 1200 for me. I have over 50 lbs to lose so that seems pretty low? Also- do you eat your fitbit calories or just ignore them? Thanks!
