End Nov Weigh In- if anyone is still here!
I don't know what happened this month but I seem to have plateaued since the end of October hovering up and down between 153 and 156. It corresponds to my launching into the 30 day shred which is certainly improving my tone but its not translating into pounds lost. I'll call that an NSV and I should really be happy with…

24/10 weigh in
Hooray, I may hit my Oct target after all, down from 159.7 to 157.7 this week. The chart is available and extended for anyone who finds it useful. If you don't see your name, the row is just hidden as it hadn't been updated for a while. They're sorted alphabetically, so just find where you would have been, select a…

Are we keeping this group going? Calories consumed/time of day question!
Hey folks, just wondering if anyone has experimented with the time of day in which they consume the bulk of their calories? I was having moderately good success spreading out my intake throughout the day but I recently came across research in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition where the data indicate that…

Weight up and down like a yo-yo!
But here's why. A good read and I wanted to share it, if like me, you happen to jump up on the scales every couple of days and then find you're down a pound then up then down then up, then down and down (hopefully). Yeah, I know, I should really only be weighing once weekly, but sometimes I can't help myself! Equally I…

Eating back your exercise calories
Does anyone do this, eat the additional calories earned from exercise? I'm not convinced about the calories MFP or that my Fitbit says I'm burning from activity. I think if I start to eat them it may be a slippery slope back to where I started, overestimating my activity and underestimating my intake. I find it much easier…
