Yep, all of the above. I've been logging for 674 days- I lost 30 pounds and have another 10-15 to go but have been stuck since about day 150. The plateau drove me nuts at first but I no longer let it worry or concern me. This is my life now- regular exercise most days (light to intense cardio hiit, roller derby and…

Hi, Tara from Toronto, living in Dublin, Ireland. I've been on MFP since last summer, realised I was turning 40 that October and though I had okay fitness from semi-regular exercise, I felt crap about how I looked. At 5' 7" 180 pounds, along with the weight, my cholesterol and blood pressure were also creeping upwards so I…

I play roller derby two to three times a week, an average of 2 hours per session- it's amazing cardio and resistance training, plus intervals too. The DOMS and bruises after a competitive game are unreal, much worse than when training with my teamies! I'll usually squeeze in a weekly gym session of up to an hour that…

August 2015 I was 180, got to 153 by December but have been bouncing between 152 and 156 since January. It's driving me nuts. My goal weight is 135-140 depending on how I look/feel if I ever get near it. I'm 40 and also a smidgen under 5' 7".

Thank you! It was an easier journey than I had imagined to get there but I think I got little complacent assuming the loss would continue. I tried not to let it get to me when it stopped. When I think back, the loss slowed to nothing when I increased my activity levels and threw in a 30 Day Shred before Christmas. With the…

Age: 40 Height: 5' 7" CW: 155 GW: 135 Hi all. When I started properly with MFP August 2015 I was 180 pounds. I did my best to stick to 1200 calories per day, became more active and hit 155 by Christmas. Great! BUT... I have been pretty much stuck there since, bouncing between 152 and 156. Working out my average daily…

Done, by why is there a new worksheet? Would it not make more sense to add a column for each week so we can watch our own and everyone else's progress? A bit of extra motivation!

Hey, I'm Tara - Ireland - GMT - 40 - Say about 15-20 pounds to lose which will bring me to my overall goal weight of around 135. I don't have a television cable subscription any more so no obvious way of keeping up with the show. Guess I'll have to trick a US online player into thinking I'm in the US to get caught up! 25…

Hey folks, I'm stuck on 152 but no surprises there as I'm well and truly in holiday mode. Anyone want to start a new group for January and we'll take the chart with us?
-
Goal for 2016 is hitting my goal weight of 135 lbs and maintaining it- I'm around 17 lbs away. I'd also like to get back to running regularly, injury free. No special plans other than to get back on track after Christmas with what I've been doing so far- eating less and moving more. I've lost 25 pounds since August with…

Not really! November was a weird month. I started Gillian Michael's 30 day shred and it seems to have done something to my weight loss. I've been hovering around 153 - 156 for what feels like an age. I fell short of my Nov goal of 152 but now on track to hit 150 by Christmas which was my original estimate when I kicked…

Hey, I'm Tara - Ireland - GMT - 40 - Ummm, not sure. I'd be happy to keep losing at 1 to 1.5 lbs per week, so say 15 pounds which will bring me just past my overall goal weight of 135. As I'm getting closer, it's getting harder so I will need all the help I can get. - I'd love to be a team leader but doubt I'd be able to…

Yay, well done! Still hovering around 155 myself- the last couple of days was 154.6 and today it says 154.2. I'm starting to hope I've broken that little plateau I was on and maybe it will start to go down again!
-
Hey folks. The overall scale figure is saying up but the fat percentage reading is right down. This kind of upset me at first until I had some advice from people who told me this is very common when starting a new strength training program- I've been trying out the 30 day shred and I'm on day 10. Weight can apparently go…

Nice one @tatho2014, you surpassed your overall goal! You must feel amazing!

Hey all, siting on 155 this week, which is maybe a pound down. Have been cheating with bread and my strength class finished. Will hopefully do a bit better next week- I've just started the 30 day shred on top of the couple of gym sessions and derby training. I've extra free time being off work until next year so no excuse.…

Didn't do too badly this week and I was a little worried as I've finished work until January and was hanging around the house a bit. As it was, with the free time I managed to move a lot more and didn't fall to snacking. I think I've lost about 1.5 to 2 lbs this week- the scale is saying 3 lbs down but I was out boozing…

No caffeine, no sugar, no alcohol?! It would all be over for me, the minute I thought I couldn't have something. I'd obsess about it and then would eventually cave in and binge. I wont give up coffee, wine, cheese or chocolate ever and I still enjoy these in moderation. Its working for me this time- smarter substitutions…

We're down to a Magnificent Seven, who updated the chart over the weekend! I've refreshed it to hide anyone who hasn't updated since September and extended it until the end of December. Think the formulas are all there but I'll keep an eye on it, just in case. I love a good chart!
-
I saw you on the chart and you did amazingly well, congratulations!
-
Down just under a pound this week- great- but saw a good drop in my body fat percentage. I've started a twice weekly strength and conditioning class that I'm hoping is already working, building nice dense muscle and burning horrible blubber!
-
Inches lost are awesome, congrats! I'm not seeing a huge difference with the tape measure but my clothes say otherwise. Not sure why this is, but I'll also take it!
-
Hey folks, today's weight is 163 lbs, hoping to hit 150 lbs by Christmas. Ultimate goal is 135 - 140 lbs. A loss of a 1 to 1.5 lbs a week is fine by me! Good luck!

Last group I was in had a Google Docs spreadsheet chart that was to be filled in but a number of people couldn't use it so they just posted weekly. Perhaps a weekly thread with a weigh date in it where everyone can update with their progress? The next thread could be "3rd October", if people are happy to weigh in on a…

Oops, posted in the wrong thread I think! I've been on MFP since end of July. Starting weight was 12.5 stone, now down to 11.5 stone. My goal weight is 10 stone, perhaps even a little less but I'll be thrilled with 10! At 5' 7" and lightly active, I wasn't obese but definitely overweight. I turn 40 next month and found I…

Will move my post to the other thread!

Chart has been refreshed to hide all those who gave up before the end of August- if you're still using it into September and beyond, you'll find it much easier to navigate now!

Today I was able to fit into a pair of UK size 12 work pants that I had bought ages ago without trying on first. When I got them home that day, I couldn't get them up over the tops of my thighs. I buried the bag and promptly forgot about them until recently finding them in the back of my wardrobe with the tags still…
