Which Nutrition Sites Do You Trust?
I'm trying to figure out the nutrition stats for beef tenderloin (i.e., filet mignon). I'm finding wildly variant numbers on different sites which seems weird to me. I don't think I've had this issue with other meats. Has anyone else run into this? Do you have a particular site you trust?
I'm currently dealing with a neurological issue such that I've had a headache constantly for 9 days. It's not a migraine, unfortunately, because if it was it would be gone by now, but it's certainly of migraine level intensity. Whether as a direct symptom of the same issue or due to exhaustion from the pain or the stomach…
4 lbs one day to the next?
I'm not sure how to take this. I weigh myself most days when I get up in the morning (sometimes I forget). I'm prone to variations of 1-1.5 lbs from one day to the next, so that doesn't worry me. I've been plateaued for about a month, mostly because it's the end of the school semester so I'm stressed and I've been feeling…
Looking 4x Faster Than Settings and Feeling Bad
I've never dieted or counted calories before and I'm trying to follow the MFP settings closely, but I've rather crashed and burned this week. I'm hoping someone can help figure out where I've gone wrong. I'm 50 days in, so I would think the initial water weight and shock of restricting calories would be over. I started at…
I like to use smoothies as a easy half dinner between getting off work and running to class for the evening (working 40-45 hours, taking 10 hours at university) and occasionally to replace lunch or breakfast. I'm having a little trouble coming up with recipes online and I'm not terribly creative myself, so I was hoping…
Hungry The Day Before Big Loss?
I weigh daily to see trends and such (and because I'm to impatient to wait for once a week), and I've noticed something odd. I find that I'm really hungry all day the day before a rather sudden drop. This has happened a few times, and it's always just my normal routine, no more or less food than usual, and I'm not usually…
