Dove off the wagon straight into the gravy
A road trip and long weekend visit with family included a lot of restaurants with delicious food of huge portions. Sigh. I can't say I regret it but it's time to get back on the wagon. Portion control, less salt and regular exercise actually sound good to me now! I guess I'm getting the hang of this!

Who are these people who can just cut out soda, etc?
I just don't understand why some people just cut out sugary drinks, fast food and maybe cut back on drinking and they lose weight. I've never been a fan of soda, I rarely eat dessert and I have had alcohol in over twenty years. Now, I readily admit I love pasta and potatoes and those have to go except for small portions…

Best estimates of calories burned?
I've noticed a huge difference between what my Pebble app calories burned estimation is and that registered on the treadmill. And if I look up a workout class online it says some crazy high amount of calories burned but my watch doesn't show half that amount ( even though I'm dripping and have gone blind from all sweat…

I think I have the "low carb flu"
I think I have the low carb flu. I've read up on it and I suppose it makes sense. Anybody else out there felt headaches and foggy when they started? How did you power through it?

New and need buddies
I'm 48 and need to lose 54 pounds. I have three teenagers and I'm a SAHM. I really need help staying motivated to excercise. I'm ready to focus on my health and not push it to the back burner anymore. Anyone else out there new?
