Dumb question but .......
I see a lot of people talking about staying in a calorie deficit in order to lose weight. So my question is whether my daily calorie goal set my MFP of 1200 is my deficit or if i need to stay under that? Thanks!

Day one once again
I'm a 58 year old woman, i reached my goal weight about 6 years ago. Managed to keep it off until about a year or so ago. Gained 3 lbs then 5, then 7, 10 now it's up to 23 lbs!! Not sure where to start AGAIN
Been on and off MFP numerous times over the past several years. Lost 40 lbs about 5 years ago gave up sugar wilhich I am EXTREMELY addicted to, started to work out got to my goal weight and felt great. Exercises I can do with a lower disc extrusion?
im 56 have been working out 3 times a week for a few months finally feeling stronger and then I hurt my back. I have a large disc extrusion which has displaced the nerve at L3. I don't want to lose what little strength I have gained any ideas on what exercises might be safe?
