Calorie accuracy on gym machines?
Are the calorie counts on the cardio equipment accurate or am I better off using some other equipment for this? Do heart rate monitors tell you how many calories were burned?

What can you do now you couldn't do before?
What is different for you now vs. before? For me, I am now able to wear a belt comfortably and go for a hike in the woods with my kids.

So I try to hit the gym six days a week. I do cardio only one day a week and the other days I alternate strength training between arms and legs. Hi all! I am a woman in my 40's who is diabetic and likes to work out. I am interested in connecting to others in similar situations. I have been working out six days a week cardio and strength training. I have lost over 100 pounds on and off over a few years and still need to lose another 60 pounds.
