Too hot to work out
Do you still work out when its a heat wave? I find I'm really struggling. Its about 90 degrees inside and a little hotter out. The heat wipes my energy and I feel like I can hardly do anything. I eat less because the heat kills my appetite too but my goal is to get fit not skinny. If you live in the heat what do you do to…

Have you done 5:2?
So I used to try and force myself to eat through out the day but always went over calories this way because regardless of what I've eaten I'm always hungry in the evening. When I stopped trying to force myself to eat I naturally fell into the IF 16:8 rhythm. I eat from 2-10pm and fall asleep between 11-12. This schedule…

I really need some suggestions. I used to hike and do Insanity which are both still not allowed and the yoga…

Tracking weight loss on multiple scales
So I just wanted to throw this out there. Does anyone use multiple scales to track their weight? The scale at my doctors office almost always says I'm 2-4lb less than my home scale says. I'm not sure which number to trust.

Weight loss and bed rest
Does anyone have advice on losing weight while on bed rest. I sprained my knee and am not supposed to walk, even with crutches, unless it's absolutely necessary for the next 2-8 weeks. I'm terrified of stopping my progress or even gaining.

Hello MyFitnessPals
Hi - My name is Sara. I'm a 36 year old mom who has struggled with weight and thyroid issues my entire adult life. In my early 30s I lost around 80lbs through diet and exercise. In the past year I gained 30lbs of that back. I can't work out the way I used to as the result of injuries but I am getting stronger every day. I…
