I was having issues for about a month and it seemed resolved and then Saturday started again. It’s showing accurate Fitbit steps but giving me zero calorie adjustments. I have my base set to 1200 calories so that should never happen. Saturday I worked out and got over 12k steps too

These crazy adjustments aren’t coming from FitBit I’m convinced. The numbers don’t even appear on my Fitbit tracking. So fat today I’ve burned 1500 according to FitBit but on MFP it’s saying I’ve burned 2100 from FitBit with a projection of 2900 for the day which is where they are getting the adjustment. I’m a middle aged…

I’m having the same problem for the last few days. I woke up today with 2000 exercise calories before even starting my day. I’ve disconnected the apps and reconnected without any improvement. I don’t think it’s Fitbit at all because the numbers don’t even match my total calories burned on Fitbit

I just had my 5yr anniversary on the site this week. I had been maintaining in my range for about two years then gained some back when my husband and I split up in September so I’m losing again. I’m about 4lbs from my previous maintenance but now have a new goal to lose about 10 more

It’s not a program you will likely gain muscle using since there is no progressive weight bearing involved. All of the strength work is 100% body weight. You will gain strength. In order to get more definition you’d still have to be doing it with a calorie deficit

I have done both. I did Insanity in person classes years ago and own the Max30 dvds. I’ve done them a few times over the years. It’s a great time saver having a challenging whole body workout at home I can do in 30min. I saw my endurance and strength improve. I’m not sure what else you mean by “results expected” but…

I just started a 6wk personal challenge (doing the beachbody 21 day fix workout followed by 21 day fix extreme) on Monday so I’m in! I started regaining and am getting back on track. Also using my food scale again SW 168.2 Goal to get back to 150-155 range

MFP was giving me near double for workout burns than what FitBit said so I stopped logging workouts here. I have FitBit synced and use that instead. It’s worked well

Even then, a 10uk is an 8us or a medium. You’re not “fat”. And if smaller clothes are fitting than you are getting smaller regardless of what you see. How tall are you? I’m in recovery for an eating disorder and your posts are very triggering. I’d definitely agree with the poster who suggested discussing your body image…

My son is 15 and I’m at a healthy weight now but still have skin. It’s improved some with time and consistent fitness. I think balanced nutrition and keeping skin hydrated helps as well. I’ve consulted and considered a half tummy tuck but really no one sees it except me and my husband so I decided against it

I made the switch from ASICS to Brooks for my runs and New Balance for walking and hiking. I used to only wear ASICS for everything but in the last few years I feel like quality has declined

If you are estimating you are likely eating much more than you realize.

This is what I do too

I take a daily collagen capsule supplement every morning with my thyroid meds and multi-vitamin. The one I use I found on Amazon

I love the new vitaminC line from Avon and it’s gentle enough to use with my nighttime Retinol cream. For daytime I never go out without sunscreen either. I really like the physicians formula brand tinted sunscreen and it’s very affordable. I’m 40 with teenage kids and my original weight loss was 86lb (I’ve regained and…

I personally like shakes and smoothies as long as I stay aware of their calorie totals (some can get high). For me a low calorie and nutrient dense shake can help me maintain my nutrients easier while in a calorie deficit. I struggle to hit my protein goals when cutting so I’ll often have a premier protein shake for lunch.…

I use my FitBit. I’ve worn it several years and it’s become pretty accurate for me over time

My weekly goals include staying within my calorie budget (this budget has a low and high end so it’s a range), 6 days of physical fitness activities a week, and an average of 7hr or more sleep each night. I set very attainable goals
-
Sorry if someone already asked this but how are you measuring your calorie intake?

#1 - first things first...it isn’t a weight loss plateau if you already know you are eating around maintenance and not as active. It’s just maintaining at that point. I struggle with night time snacking that had me in a similar position for awhile. Over time I actually ended up gaining some back too. What has worked for me…

My brother and the mom of my sons best friend who lives down the road both had it. She has asthma and was sick a full month and is still dealing with lasting breathing issues. My brother is a healthy 30yr old and he was sick 1 week then recovered. I’m not sure if I had it. In March I was sick for 10 days. My flu swab cape…

Carbs in general don’t fill me up much. I enjoy them and find them better as a fast energy source before a workout or right after if I’m famished. Of the macros fat sources like avocado or nuts tend to fill me up the longest

I’ve been loving Jazzercize on demand and have increased the weight Im using and I alternate it with the Insanity Max30 dvds at home. With some of the Jazzercize dance cardio programs I can hit 7000 steps in 40min

I love mine. It motivates me to move more and alerts me when my activity decreases

We can’t even access our parks or trails anymore here. It’s definitely affecting me and I’m up and down all over the place. I had switched from maintenance to losing again right before this. I stalled when the shelter in place started. This past week I finally saw movement again losing a little I’m doing good with home…

Things that were easy to give up that I don’t miss at all- 1. Alcohol 2. Creamer and sweetener in coffee 3. Soda Things that are still hard to limit 1. Cheese 2. Baked treats

I’m 40 and started periM early at 35. I’m still peri and have definitely noticed I get a belly easier now when I do gain weight and I require a little less food to maintain my weight than before. I don’t think it’s made me gain weight though. If I maintain my activity and stay in calories the scale doesn’t change but I’ve…

Hmmm...I’m a 40yr old woman and still dress like a teen most days. Is that wrong? 😂

Black coffee and once in awhile I’ll treat myself to a dirty chai
