Just got my Peloton Bike this week. Anyone else riding on one? Any suggestions on first timer rides etc?

Recovery time from hard Cardio
2nd week of doing 45-60 min of spin classes. 3x days then one day off then 3x days on. It's been 3hrs since the class ended. Hardest push for me to date. Yet my hart rate is still right around 100bpm. Sitting on the couch watching a movie for 2hrs. Still 100bpm. Even had a glass of red wine. Is this just a need more time…

Cyclists ; Why must I keep my foot flat as I peddle? I tend to point my toe down at times.
In my spin classes the instructor is saying to not point your toe down and keep your foot flat though the pedal stroke. However I tend to point my toe a bit. Is this to keep more power going into the stoke?

Max hart rate and going past it? 40+ age
So at 45 I see my max hart rate is 175bpm. (Using 220- my age of 45) So working out on my stationary bike I peek out and start hitting 185 at times in the work out. How accurate are HRM and Trainers for calories burned?
My Paloton trainer bike says I burned 560 Calories in a 45min training class. However my Apple watch only monitoring HR set to indoor cycling says almost 700 calories burned.
