Anyone got any 'lost loads of weight, but still wearing the same clothes' success stories/ progress?
I don’t dare step on the scales (I know I’ve lost weight, but don’t want to be demotivated if the scales are higher than I expect). I’m trying to go on dress size/ clothing fit. I usually wear stretchy material (including work clothes/ jeans etc). I’m sure I’ve seen progress pics where people look better, but are still in…

I need a 4-5pm 'get home' meal that won’t push me over my calories, but will fill me.
I realise I just want to feel full, but if I eat a meal that early, I’ll snack all evening. I’m short so don’t have masses of calories available. I get home from work tired and hungry, collect the kids from the childminder and start making the evening tea. This is the time I can fail... A 'handful of nuts' won’t cut it...…

I forgot how good exercise feels!
Why do we (I) stop doing it?! Losing weight feels good. Exercise feels good. Slim feels good. Junk food only makes me feel bad. Fat makes me feel 20 years older. Why do I fall off the wagon?!

Has anyone used a waist cincher to help with flab?
Firstly, I understand it won’t help me lose weight and I am not intending it to be over tight. I am also aware that I must be careful not to let my core muscles weaken... That being said... I carry all my weight on the front of my stomach (had cxsection and the pouch that follows]. The fat seems to go straight to the old…

Bathroom scales that are accurate?? (UK)
My scales just aren’t accurate anymore - I can lose a stone by moving them inch by inch along the floor (which is a hard surface). I like to input my weight into happy scale to get a trend. Are there any scales or there that are accurate? There’s no point weighing if I can’t trust the reading. I was almost toying with…

Do you have days when it all seems so impossible?
I’ve gone up and down (after children), then this latest time due to an awful situation with work and using food to get through it. I now think I've got my mind in the right place, so am working on the body... I remembered some smart trousers I bought at my previous heaviest weight and thought I’d wear them next week. When…

Cheating for everything (ish)
Just wondered what everyone else does. So, when I weigh myself (scales aren’t great) I write down the lowest of the weights. When I measure myself, I hold the tape measure tight. The theory being is that if I 'cheat' each time, I avoid fluctuations caused by inaccurate measuring and overall I’m more likely to be accurate…

Belly (fat) support for cardio exercise?
I’ve had a NSV (yay!) is that while the scale has gone up a little, my belly has had a loss. The downside is that instead of a solid (fat) belly, I now have a loose, flabby but heavy belly. It really hurt tonight when exercising and I’m sure that can’t be good (the same sort of pain as exercising without a sports bra).…

Did losing weight solve your back problems?
I'm in a viscous cycle. I'm 4 stones overweight and have started the weight loss journey again. My back keeps going and spasming. What exercises should I be doing (too much exertion causes my back to spasm, then I can't exercise) When my back 'goes' can I stop it from spasming? The physiotherapist sighed last time I went…

Crying when exercising (emotion not pain)?
I didn't know where to post this... So, I lost weight a couple of years ago - combination of diet and Shaun T. I felt motivated and strong. I worked for the goal and the process made me stronger. The past year, I've had a horrible time at work since a new manager arrived and I have been bullied. Nothing I've done was good…

Weight loss with bad back and can hardly exercise
If anyone can recommend a good exercise program for bad backs (I've done the myrtle routine, but it's not exactly taxing). I'm starting again after two bad years where food was my comfort. I have never, ever managed to lose weight without intense exercise backing it up. I'm a very short female, so I always get that 1200…
