Does hiking in a hot day burn more calories?
It’s suppose to be 106 degrees tomorrow but I’m in the mood to hike. Has anyone ever hiked on a hot day? How did you manage it?

Motivation to eat healthy
What motivates you guys to eat? I’m trying to eat 1,200 calories a day but it’s so hard to eat a lot. I used to eat 1,500 calories but I was mostly eating junk greasy food, soda, fraps, etc. now that I’m cooking on my own and eating better food, it’s just not appetizing to me. I’m struggling to eat 500-800 a day.

So I had around 800 calories for the day and the app won’t let me “finish” my diary. It told me that I won’t get my five week weight projection? I didn’t mean to eat so little but I’m just not in the mood to eat today. How accurate is the weight projection ?and should I just add extra calories that I didn’t eat and put…

Just an introduction
Hello everyone. I’m new to MFP. My current goal is to lose 20lbs of fat. I’m 5’3 at 126 lbs. my goal weight is 105 - 110 lbs. Currently I'm just doing portion control, exercise, and eating 1,200 calories a day. Eventually I would like to weight train and get toned as well.
