Cycling and tracking apps
Okay, I don't have a heart rate monitor or power meter so I rely on tracking apps. I currently use Strava and Map My Ride. 18.50-mile ride MMR says I burned 1200 calories, while Strava says I burned 470. I understand they estimate by ride criteria and are not accurate. My question is how such a discrepancy between the two?

Walking with a 25# pack
One of my cardio exercises is fast pace walking (4.5 - 5mph). As an example, If I walk 3 miles in 37 minutes at said pace and burn 500 calories, how much more would I burn with a weighted pack? Just a ballpark figure is okay with me. I know all the variables that are involved, just looking for an estimated loss.

What's more efficient of a deficit (I know whats healthier). 100 calories cut out of diet or burn 100 calories by exercise.

Hi all I'm 203# 6' 2" and fallow the automated MFP at 1.5# a week loss. Most days I burn between 500-1000 calories walking/power walking. Will I be getting enough protein with me current macro? P 75g C 188g Fat 50g. Thank you for the help :)

Macro % suggestion
Looking to loose body fat but wan to do it with a balanced diet (lifestyle change). I'm not that active unless you consider walking an exercise. I'm 6'2" and at about 221, want to loose 1.5 - 2 pounds a week until I get around 215. At 210 I will still like to loose about a pound to 1.5 a week. Right now I'm at 1500…
