Last day of Whole 30
Today was day 30 Of Whole 30. I absolutely loved the experience and learned a ton. Over the 30 days I had lost 25lbs and feel amazing. Do I go back to eating junk tomorrow or what? I think I may just have a small personal pizza then my wife and I are going Paleo. Anyone here do Paleo? What are your favorite things about it?

Bye bye diabetes (good riddance)
So today marks an amazing milestone. In December 2017 I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. My A1C was 11.7% which is a super dangerous level. I knew I had to take care of that or I will not see me kids grow up. With hard work I managed to get my level to 7.7% by February which was a tremendous effort. Today I had another…

Disappointment
This is just a general rant. I have almost completely derailed myself. I had lost a total of 86lbs by the end of February 2018. Since then I have gained back 10lbs. I know what I need to do to get back down but I keep giving in and lacking discipline and go back to bad habits because they are easy. I guess recognizing the…

I really love reading the success on my feed and get motivated. Sadly, There are too many friends on here that never log in and my feed is getting pretty quiet. Anyone care too add me? Perhaps this will motivate me to post more often and start logging my food again.

Black belts unite!
I want to get a chime in from people who have a martial arts black belt or higher. I do not care what art you study but regardless of art there is a black belt mentality. You know, "I will achieve my goal even if it kills me." After all I am sure you had to endure an insanely tough belt test of some sort. Mine was 7 hours…

Back pain after weight loss
I have noticed after losing a bunch of weight my back is pretty sore pretty often. Anyone else get this and was it temporary? I am sure it was my body being used to the weight and now that it is not there my posture must be different.

What makes YOUR weight loss efforts worth it?
For me it’s not only feeling better but when an acquaintance sees you and comments on your weight loss. Or when anyone acknowledges your effort without having to tell them. Also the satisfaction of getting smaller clothes. I’d love to hear what you have to say. Also I am looking to add more friends if ANYONE is interested.

Awesome results and I had to set new goals today!
I love to see such success stories! I hit the 75lbs lost today and I’m no longer considered overweight anymore. My diabetic symptoms have disappeared and I will find out next month if I can stop taking all medications. I was 296 in Q1 of 2017 and I am at 220 as of today oh I am 6’6”.

Take control of your life!
In February 2017 I was the heaviest in my life. I watched myself gain weight and I didn’t care. That summer I was at 6’6” and 296lbs and had really bad diabetic symptoms. Felt a change was needed or I would not live longer. I simply ate less. Still not good foods but watched portion size. This brought me down to about…
