Does Counting Calories ACTUALLY work
I have always had the mindset that you can't lose UNLESS you eat 1000 or below. I set myself up for failure when doing MORE calories. Can I really lose weight by doing the 1300 calories it is telling me to eat AND adding back some of my calories burned? Just doesn't seem right lol....

Low Calories
Good Morning. I am new and I was given 1290 calories daily in order to lose the 60 lbs I want to lose with a weight loss of 1 lb per week. Is it me or is that # pretty low considering the calories should slowly go down to complete my weight loss. I am 5'1" 175 lbs.

Calories burned
I am eating around 1300 calories a day and burning around 500 minimum some days exercising. Should I eat those back OR can I just eat my 1300 and be good? I am getting in ALOT of protein. I noticed I get fitbit calories added back for barely any movement. How accurate are these? I have not been eating back the calories burned.

I am a new fitbit and MFP member. How accurate are the calories "earned" with your fitbit? I feel at times I am earning ALOT of extra calories for doing very little. I am curious as to who EATS their calories burned back. If you do not eat calories burned back then tell me how well you are doing with your weight loss.
