I’m 63 at 267 lbs. I lost about 25 lbs since January but when I hit a plateau 2 months ago I tried keto. That made me sick as I have no gallbladder and I got dehydrated from diarrhea. I’ve joined a gym but with arthritis in my knees and ankles my workouts are either inefficient or maybe I’m expecting too much too soon…

Stupid question
Intermittent fasting helps in keto diet. If I’m going to be hungry anyway what’s the point of keto. I could do a fast eat pecan pie ( staying within caloric boundaries) and still lose weight. Please help. I want keto to work but am getting discouraged

Plateau
I hit a plateau on my traditional calorie counting diet and decided to try keto. That was 2 weeks ago and according to the test strips I’m in ketosis but have yet to see any change in my scale. I’m still keeping my calories under 1300. What am I doing wrong?

Keto?
I’m 64 and need to lose 80 lbs. I’ve lost 30 but have plateaued and am considering a keto lifestyle. I’m restricted on exercise but do seated workouts. Is keto a reasonable option?
