I’m 64 and need to lose 80 lbs. I’ve lost 30 but have plateaued and am considering a keto lifestyle. I’m restricted on exercise but do seated workouts. Is keto a reasonable option?

Keto is a reasonable option if you prefer a diet high in fat and extremely low in carbs.
To answer the question you aren't (but should be) asking - to lose weight, you have to eat less than you burn, and if you aren't losing weight, you may have to tighten up your logging.3 -
My mother found a ketogenic diet worked well for her. She is in her mid 70s and has some mobility issues but she was losing a couple of pounds a week. She was eating lean meats and veggies with some nuts and dairy. She found it satiating, and her sweet tooth was greatly reduced.
The book, Keto Clarity is a good one for beginners. The Low Carber Daily or Keto MFO groups might be of some help to you too.
Good luck.
